I think youll be surprised what you can accomplish with far less. I lost on 4mgs every 7 days and maint on 3/week.DwightTheDelight said:I just hit overweight on the BMI scale and figured it would be a good time to post an update, since I'm not sure how many other people are above the 15mg/week threshold and it might be useful info to some. My doctor recently told me I need to start wrapping this up and slowing down. High dose Tirz has powered a 217lb loss (48%) in the last 500 days with very minimal side effects.
I've worked my way up to 15mg of Tirz every 5 days for the last 8 months and Glp1plotter estimates a peak concentration of 28mg in my system. I've messed around with adding reta and cagri in during this stretch for short segments, but I've been unimpressed. Ungodly amounts of Tirz does the trick for me.
In terms of diet, I've been slowly increasing average calories since January from 1500 to 2100 the past two months. Despite this increase, I'm still losing fairly quickly. High carb, moderate protein, low fat plus a day or two of fasting per month is melting this saggy azz.
I'm going to begin slowly increasing the days between shots to see how I handle it. Also, I've lucked out in regards to loose skin, despite the fast loss, and will only need my lower stomach addressed surgically. Not sure if diet/occasional fasting played a role in that, but I thought I would have more loose skin than I do.

I've had 5 comprehensive blood tests done since starting in Dec 23 and the only significant changes were in my alt and ast numbers - which drastically improved. Everything else was in normal range from the start until now.TooBigtoFail said:Congrats. Impressive. I am at 22mg peak on Tirz, so this will help me push towards a peak of 28mg. And for 8 months, wow. Are you doing occasional blood tests? Any out of range results due to higher dosage?

You might want to read his actual post at the top, including chart. He started in 2023, lost 217 lbs, so I think he's got a pretty good handle on what he's doing!elaine77 said:I think youll be surprised what you can accomplish with far less. I lost on 4mgs every 7 days and maint on 3/week.

Thanks! Im surprised. Things in general are difficult for me usuallyStonePny said:@elaine77 Envious of your great results on 4mg, congrats!
I looked at everything and believe my comment is still valid.StonePny said:You might want to read his actual post at the top, including chart. He started in 2023, lost 217 lbs, so I think he's got a pretty good handle on what he's doing!
If everyone could lose all of their weight on 4mgs, then the branded meds wouldn't dose up as far as 15mgs. You are likely not the same age, may not be the same sex, don't have the same health considerations...etc. Your comment is valid, but only for you.elaine77 said:I looked at everything and believe my comment is still valid.

Youre doing too much. OP said they titrated up quickly. Im not comparing our height, weight, or anything else. Just throwing out that as they move into being in less than 15 they may still experience benefits. What works for me may not work for everyone but I never said it would. I was just giving a bit of cheerleading for them since they didnt spend much time on lower doses.pavlovs said:If everyone could lose all of their weight on 4mgs, then the branded meds wouldn't dose up as far as 15mgs. Well done on your loss![]()

Wow, congrats! Even with losing significantly I’m still obese per my scale.. I’m stuck right now, but I haven’t dosed up very quickly- lost great at 4 mg Reta, until I didn’t. Hit a stall and I’ve worked up to 10 mg, debating going up to 12, because I miss seeing it drop quickly…DwightTheDelight said:I just hit overweight on the BMI scale and figured it would be a good time to post an update, since I'm not sure how many other people are above the 15mg/week threshold and it might be useful info to some.
