Thee Oohwee
GLP-1 Apprentice

Hey y'all. This is my first post outside of my Intro, and its a long one, so buckle-up, buttercups.
I am one of those unfortunates who, once having bronchitis as a child living in the Ohio Valley, it comes back at least once a year, mostly due to weather changes or severe allergies. Its usually no big deal - I'll feel sick a few days, fuzzy-brained, mucus on overload, annoying cough, etc. you get the picture. It will resolve itself in about a week.
When I started Tirz in October of last year, I had just gotten over a chest cold. After about a month in, the chest cold came back. And each time I'd shake it, it would come right back after five or six days. For the first time in my life, I was experiencing chronic bronchitis. It lasted in total six weeks. I was miserable.
I stayed in constant contact with my doctor's office, visiting regularly to make sure I didn't have pneumonia, etc. I had also worried that it was, in some way, connected to the Zepbound (insurance was covering it then). I was told that it was just an unfortunate relapse cycle in my body and that I would eventually shake it. Which I did.
Then, I started Reta about three weeks ago. I'm currently pinning 4mg Reta on Friday, then 7.5mg Tirz on Monday, with plans on titrating Reta up while keeping Tirz the same or taking it down to 5-6mg. Anywho, I got a chest cold after about a week and a half after pinning Reta for the first time. It could be coincidence - the weather in SoCal is tri-polar and there's lots of pollen and smog in the air.
I just wondered if anyone else has had the same kind of reactions to any of the GLP1 peps?
