Things you haven't eaten since starting on GLP-1....

The biggest thing I noticed, was food noise diminished.

Also my constant craving for chocolate and sweet things just vanished.

Have not had much of anything sweet for months. I do very occasionally have a little something.

But find I can have a much smaller portion before being satisfied. 🤗🙏

Edit. I should add this on Reta 500mcg 3 x a week.

Sadly I don't eat bread any more. I tried to eat a sandwich during my second and fourth week and they sat in my stomach like an anchor and made me feel bloated and disgusting. Not a pleasant experience so no more sandwiches. Also, tortillas are a no go. Made a chicken wrap and again it made me feel very bloated.

There's lots of things I used to eat but I don't have a craving for any more like chocolate and fast food but bread products and I don't get along right now.

My favorite thing is pizza. I usually have it as a treat every couple of weeks. Since starting this journey I haven't eaten it, craved it or really thought about it. Bread in general isn't very appealing.

Burgers mostly, also ramen with really rich/fatty broth. Though in the case of the ramen, I will still eat the shoyu/shio based ones with kale noodles once or twice a month.

I’ll add one item to the “what NOT to eat” list so you don’t experience what I did last night.

I’ve been on Reta for 16 weeks, working my way from 0.5 mg up to 4 mg. Side effects have been very minimal overall, aside from occasional constipation when ramping up, which has been easy to manage with Senokot.

I’ve been consistent with my calorie deficit and had about 300 calories to spare last night. There were freshly made molasses cookies that I had bought for my kids, and I figured, why not eat three of them since they fit my macros? BIG MISTAKE.

My stomach became rock hard from gas and constipation, and I couldn’t sleep for three hours. I had to ride it out, even after taking Gas-X and Senokot. Everything cleared up this morning, but that was by far the most uncomfortable experience I’ve had while on Reta.

I didn’t realize molasses cookies contain fermentable sugars, which are a big no-no in this context. So FYI.

I have been buying these blue raspberry protein drinks from costco. Originally bought them as part of my fruitless attempts to get the girlfriend to increase protein intake and she won't do any of the powders or chocolate or vanilla. Well she hates them so I started drinking them and it was convenient if I had a busy morning. Easy way to get 30g protein in fast.

They always had too much of an artificial sweetness to them for my liking but it was tolerable.

Since starting my glp-1 I REALLY have to FORCE myself to drink it like it's just god awful and disgusting how sweet it is. I won't buy anymore and I'll switch back to just using my protein powders instead.

I have poor hunger signaling so before GLP-1 I could always be hungry and eat pretty large amounts without feeling full and I would have crazy cravings for sweets, particularly ice cream or chocolate very frequently particularly at night for some reason. All of this is COMPLETELY gone which is for the most part welcome because I can still comfortably enjoy a small piece of cheese cake or chocolate when I want a treat without overeating or having dire cravings for it every day thereafter.

Same! I used to be able to house down a whole pie on my own easily and still feel hungry sometimes. Now I almost never think about pizza and have virtually zero desire for bread of any kind. Frankly even scrambled eggs which I love I find myself somewhat gagging to finish by the end.

Chocolate and beer. I've never been a fan chocolate beers, so that's a non-issue for me.

Since starting reta 2 months ago, I've only had coca cola twice. I used to have it about 3 times a week. I have no urge for it now.

Food? What's that? Seems I've a memory of something called "food". 😉

In the meantime I've taken up the banjo...

Almost at my goal weight!

I use to be able to eat a horse, well I always use to say Im that hungry I could eat one.

Pizza is something I have not touched since, I guess also finding out each slice is around 300 - 400 calories has helped as well.

I'm on Tirz and still starting, but so far no food aversions/reactions have presented, although I haven't had actual hot wings since starting. The main difference I've noticed on the day to day basis is my weekly caffeine intake (Grape Lost and Found is my go to) has dropped over 95% with no effort or desire on my part. I have drank 1 a week to make sure it's not aversion, but other than that I don't find myself reaching for them. 🤷‍♂️

For me it’s eggs. I used to have 4-6 most days. Since starting the thought of them turns my stomach 😂. I’ve managed to get back to eating them boiled or scrambled at a push but fried (which I used to have quite a lot) I just can’t bring myself to eat them.

Same 😭 it’s so annoying because they’re such a good protein source. Every time I look up breakfast protein ideas or ways to get my protein in, it’s always eggs in some form

I can't eat Velveeta cheese dips ... Total gutt destroyed.
