Stacking Tirz + Reta. Any tips?

7.5 mg Tirz on Fridays, 2.5 mg Reta on Monday. Seems to be a sweet spot. I want to eventually change it to 5 mg / 5 mg split.

Tirz is okay, but I do notice a higher level of energy with Reta. So I'm trying to balance things a bit, and see where that takes me.

This is so helpful to read, thank you for putting into perspective like that for me!

When I say losing its effectiveness, I mean have seen the scale tick up (not drastically, but enough to be concerning) and I’ve had to work so much harder to bring it back down. I’m most worried about the weight creeping back on and not having a plan in place to counter it. Added to that is the concern about being at such a high dose with not much wiggle room. If this is the weight I stay at, I can live with that, I just can’t stand the thought of backsliding. I’ve always been fine with the thought of having to be on something like this for the rest of my life, I think I just didn’t come to terms with the fact that one day it wouldn’t be enough to simply maintain my current weight.

Anyway, I’m not done fighting yet. The plan is increased activity and strength training, and I’m hopeful that Reta can help with energy levels for that. We’ll see!

Thanks again for the insight!
I am also your age and female and have been alternating Reta and Tirz (one every 3 days), and a tiny amount of cagri with the reta. However I am nowhere near as high up on dose as you are. But I would say that before you switch over, try a TINY dose of Cagri first for a few weeks before you switch over to reta, and I DO MEAN TINY. Like if you make a 10mg vial and use 2ml BAC Water to make a 5mg per ml vial, use like 2 units MAX of that stuff maybe with your tirz dose and see how you do--I swear Cagri will knock you on your ass. Reta does nothing for the food noise, and I haven't noticed a difference with the energy levels between it and Tirz, like I get a boost maybe the first 24 hours of pinning...then I am EXHAUSTED for a few hours, then I am back to "normal." Once you are at goal, it might help you go down to a maintenance dose level of Tirz without any issue with backsliding and then you can stop the Cagri.

You've lost 90lbs so far, and your new "set point" is 145--the last 20% of any weight loss journey is the worst part and takes the longest because you're starting from a different place, and your metabolism is also running at a different pace.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I will definitely give the Cagri a try.
