I’ve been training since February and have used pre-workout on some days when I feel not as energetic.

What pre-workouts do you guys use? Do you like pre-workout do you not like it?

I just finished mine and was curious and what everyone else uses.

I found that pre-workouts make me all jittery and too wired. Instead, I load creatine and beta alanine and after loading phase, take a maintenance amount everyday. Since switching to this, my pre-workout drink is literally a big cup of coffee and a mixer cup full of water. I like to workout in the morning, fasted.

Double Espresso and Honey.

I am interested in trying Mots-C though.

Big fan of Transparent Labs here. I use their Stim Free pre workout since I don’t need the caffeine. I also use their Creatine with HMB

Coffee and citrulline only. I'm not into all of those strong brainfucking stacks anymore....come down is brutall. When I notice citrulline and coffe is not enough will add some alanine and arginine, but so far I don't think I need it.

I’ll have to try that tomorrow since I ran out today. I do use creatine in my protein shake post workouts. Thanks for the input!

You're welcome brotha

You could try loading creatine for 7 days - 20g each day split up through our the day. Then after the week 5g per day. When I'm loaded I feel a cognitive benefit too. When loading beta-alanine I just take 5g a day everyday, put it my shake or I'm some water or whatever.

Avoid citrus or acidic drinks, they will counteract the creatine. Have a good workout!

Citrulline is well known for ages. But as a single supplement it's getting more popular recently, ao you right. Actually before my break with gym a couple years ago, due to the shoulder injury, I used to supplement some stacks, where the citrulline was one of many. When back to workouts recently, after the break just decided to give a citrulline only a try. IMO it is what I was looking for. No stimulation, but gives me some proper concentration and efficiency while cardio and weigh lifting. Got an experience with many hard core pre workouts, but don't need this kind of speed feeling anymore.

Same as above, found most pre-workouts made me jittery and the non-caffeinated versions were mostly just flavoured water in terms of impact ...

Usually have a shot of espresso before my morning workout and sometimes half a toast if I'm planning on any form of long cardio. Does the job.

There is a HUGE difference between Canadian pre-workout and USA.

There are a couple of ingredients that Canada does not allow.

I bought the US version of Total War by Redcon1; never again !!

It felt like my body was being electrified inside; I can feel my veins vibrating 😱

All Canadian pre-workout is mild

Total War by Redcon 1 is my fav. All the flavors taste great 😉

I dont use creatine for pre-workout though I do take it. Right now my go-to is a combo of modaf-bemethyl-methylene blue, epicatechin, Jacked Factory's NO-XT, and Lipodrene Elite

New York...

Can't even get Skippy peanut butter here anymore. They stopped shipping it up here about 5 years ago because of freight costs and lack of sales.

It's the best damn PB !
