I know there's a good few threads regarding Mots-c, but the experiences and opinions are very polarised. Some people say it's a spot on pep and doing miracles, other that's useless and additionally very uncomfortable in use (sting, swelling, lumps etc.) As far as I learned about this compound it is much more predicted for people, who are not youngsters anymore...Im 49 y.o. prick and I'm very interested in Mots-c, and considering giving it a shot. I'd like to get opinions strictly of people who are at least 40+. Does it work for you, did you apply Ss-31 or SLU-PP-332, before Mots-c. Do you stack it with other peptides, etc... How was a comfort of injections, was it hard for you, or not...and any other opinion from this particular group of people.

I am in the crowd that loves it and gets half-dollar lumps that take a week to go away. Ran SS-31 for 30 days last November, and pure exhaustion, where others got immediate energy. I do believe that did help my journey with Mots-C. Every other day, 5-7mg. It is kinda dark in my pinning arena. I am a 53-year-old male, and my Mitochondria must have really been in the toilet.

Thanks for reply. If I only knew how the half dollar looks like 😁. Anyway I'm a bit concerned of your opinion on Ss-31...would like to do it the same way as yourself, but being completely exhausted for a month doesn't sound like a joy for me 🫤

Just started the SS-31 again and have switched injection time to mid-afternoon instead of early morning, and that seems to have helped immensely so far.

My RS A1c went from 6.5 to 5.6 while on Reta and Mots-C. It could be one of those but I'm guessing the combination of the two were synergistic in lowering the RS A1C numbers. The RS did not have very bad reactions to the Mots-C like some others have experienced, just some aches and some itching at the injection site.

I am starting week 3 of 2.5 mg 3x a week before my key workouts I am 40 years old. I have had zero injection site issues at all. I am using a pen and doing it about 30 minutes before my workouts. I have definitely enjoyed and felt great on it. However, I was also running and cycling a LOT prior to it I did not take anything else with or before it.

im 42 started at 1mg daily all good ( never noticed anything)

now trying at 5mg daily . Now everytime i get huge isr and painfull lumps for weeks

will go back a 2mg daily to see if the pain persist

Hi,

52 yr old male.

Messing with protocols b/c there is 3x weekly camp and daily camp.

I am doing 2mg MON / TUES / FRI

300mcg WED THURS

I'm a believer in Alex Kikel's Mito info. He suggests 300mcg / Daily for a month.

He's a SS31, SLP advocate too.

But last week 2mg sent me to the moon. So I've been chasing that. The 2mg had a noticeable clean energy run but I'll find out if that stays consistent.

Mind you, I'm going to work and have a physical job mixed with brain work and people management. Not doing workout. But I see how it would be good w/ workout.

Minor injection site issues. One spot bruised yellow. One spot has a lump. Others nothing.

Minor burn but I took a page from the NAD book and added 2ml Bac water to a 10mg vial.

So 2mg doses are 40 units = diluted.

I checked my blood work for all markers of Mito health and extrapolated that I didn't need the SS-31 "repair" mode first.

I will add SS-31, as it is rec'd for off Mots-c days to clean up and repair in the event the Mots-c doses are causing "over spinning" or dumping Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) = oxidative damage.

Hey! I'm a prick too!

64yrs old. Ran SS31 for 10 weeks first. During that time also ran Fox04 1 week and Epitalon for 20 days. Then ran Mots-c for 5 weeks. Just finished. I would recommend it.

Pain? I'm a former Marine. We don't feel pain....we inflict it. (told you I was a prick)

Don't fall into this pain cult. (Unless you keep passing out or going into shock) I've been to St Jude's 3 times to visit kids. These kids have multiple surgeries, cracked open skulls and what seems like endless chemo. But you know what? They still greet you w/ a hug and a smile and they actually have something to complain about. And don't even get me started about the Marines and Soldiers who come home half blown up.

So in closing, pin away!

Is this a roll call for pricks?

So im 39 and i work 3 shift pattern, so always having to alter training times week to week.

Introduced SS31 a few weeks before chucking in Mots C, now i run 2mg daily of ss31 and then 5ml of MOTS c on my 4 training days and cant say ive noticed an awful lot of difference's as of yet.

Will keep up as all the the reviews say its works even if only in the background so trusting in the process and all that lol

Seems like I got a boost of energy when I first started it but nothing after the first two weeks. I’m currently coming to the end of my protocol with NAD & SS31 and can’t say I feel any different. SS31 made me so tired. I don’t think I will take that one again.

I'm 42 and early last year I ran a short 4 week cycle at 2mg every other day to help with my cardio endurance. I fell in love with it. Didn't help my cardio much since I was till fat and out of shape. Even now my cardio still sucks! But I felt all around better. Improved my energy, more focus, better sleep, better weight lifting performance, less brain fog, and a myriad of other small quality of life improvements. After that I decided to do the 14 week NAD+, SS31, Mots-C protocol. Again, it was life changing for me. All the benefits of before but intensified.

I think it really just depends on where you're at with your cellular health to begin with. After 20 years of heavy drug and alcohol abuse, being obese, sedentary, and depressed, I had wrecked my health worse than was evident by my appearance and what common blood panels showed. I have since ran it 3 times with diminishing returns. Last cycle I felt almost nothing which I'm hoping means I repaired my cellular health to a major degree. I plan on running a cycle once a year for maintenance from now on.

more placebo then you reckon ?

Ive ready give it a few months and i have the supply so i may just keep it going ?

Maybe a poor mito chondria initially and SS31 rebuilding it before MOTS C

I pin GHK and Mots-C in the upper glute area, 1 inch below the waistline and no reactions like I got when I pinned in the abdomen.

And for the effects; I finally figured it out after 1 1/2 weeks of using Mots-C.......

I did a lot of reading/research yesterday; I did do a lot before ordering Mots-C.

But reading peoples comments about how they had so much energy when going to the gym just clouded my thinking. I cleared my mind and it finally sunk in. I apologize if you already know this.

"Deesol" and I were expecting it to have a energetic or stim feeling like a pre-workout.

It does NOT do that. It is not a stimulant. It is known to improve physical performance by acting as a mitochondrial-derived peptide that optimizes cellular metabolism and energy production.

So with that said, here is what I noticed since I started 1 1/2weeks ago.

1. I lost 2lbs in 1 1/2 weeks. I think that's a lot. It's the most I lost this month in that time frame. I'm now at 141lbs. I can rest assure I have not lost any lean muscle tissue. My avatar is a pic I took at the gym today. My cheap weight scale indicates I went up 0.2 in muscle mass.

2. This might be normal progressive overload, but I increased a lot of my reps by at least 1 in the last week using the same weight. I will have to monitor this over the next few weeks.

3. I think this is most important and it confirms what "jimmyjames01" mentioned. I do not feel exhausted at the end of my 90 minute workout. I walked through the parking lot today so fast that I actually walked past my car....lol. I feel like I can keep working out or go for a run.

To sum it up, I believe Mots-C is working. I was just under the assumption that I would feel some stim.

And I will stay with the Mon-Wed-Fri 5mg pin because....The biological effects, including AMPK pathway activation and improved insulin sensitivity persist for 24–72 hours or longer, as the peptide triggers lasting changes in mitochondrial function and cellular metabolism.

I have found MOTS-c to be very subtle for me, not really noticeable when using it, but more noticeable in its absence. I'm on Reta and just started a cycle of MOTS-c and Tesamorelin. We'll see how that goes. I may boost the MOTS-c dose in a couple of weeks to see if it has a more noticeable effect.

What dose did you start with and which days ?

And what will you increase it to ?

I'm 46 female and have a history of lethargy since I was in my 20s which worsened with age. I started methylene blue (5 drops of 5%) about 3 months ago and that increased my energy a good 30-50% at first but my body got used to it so it feels like the effects have become less noticeable maybe to 25% more energy than before it.

I started Mots (250 mcg) last week and I feel the same effect as MB, 30-50% more energy. I haven't ran SS-31 yet but will start soon when it arrives. Time will tell how I feel overall later with all 3 but so far decent inprovement taking mots and MB.

Some people experience tiredness while on Ss-31. Wondering wheter it is a good idea to not to start with Ss-31, and afterwards jump on Mots-c, but to start the both of them at the same time as a stack🤔
