(TSH)1.34 uIU/mL,

@desinr-gal @Foggy-Hollow

I'm beginning the mitochondria protocol soon, excited to see if it can help.

I'm really exhausted these days. Like REAALLY exhausted.

Did you try it ? @desinr-gal @Foggy-Hollow
Not yet, It was a Next.. but The ss-31 was OOS when I was buying, so I got the Mots. I only have that one, and the reaction to it was so bad, I decided to wait and do SS-31 first. It also got cloudy after a week so I am still a little concerned about the kit. And Amino Lair wouldnt provide any batch no or COAs..

😕

Oh, it's a bit difficult for me, because in Denmark we use a different unit of FT4.

But TSH is the same unit I see, you could go a bit lower.

Are you saying that you use Levothyroxine 50 micg per day ?
I didn't label the doses very well, sorry!

Aug 25 started 50 mcg
Oct 20 labs
Oct 21 started 75 mcg - current dose
Dec 1 labs

He didn't order the other labs (like T3) which I'm not keen on, but I've never had issues converting. Just the silly nodule deciding I didn't "really" need blood going to my brain 😳 🙃 triggering the partial removal.

@desinr-gal I've heard that if you need T3, adding it can be helpful with energy too, hope it gives a permanent help.

Yes it's working very well. There is a rise in heart rate with Reta, but I think that's why it burns more fat.

That is my theory too. All 2 (weekly) doses I tried this summer haha. The burn has to happen somewhere. I was getting +10 beats per minute on half a starting dose iirc.

You are on a lower dose, I think, you should go up in Levo.

Your FT4 will get better.

About T3, we also don't do that anymore i Denmark, I don't really know why. When I order 'hypothyroid tests', only TSH and FT4 get done.

I know, some of my patients get T3 substitution, but then it's from an endocrinologist subscribing.

My RHR also fluctuates with Reta, in the beginning it was + 10, then it went down again for a month, and now up again. I don't feel anything.

Thank you miss-sanne! Maybe the assumption is for the best unless a known problem with T3 conversion.

Interesting that it comes and goes! I don't remember feeling it either. I only knew from my fitness watch.

eek, that doesn't sound good.

Double eek! I keep notes on various suppliers... AL was kind of on my "to try" list but if they can't support a problem that's not good.

I had a vial of reta from NuSciencePeptides that gelled on me earlier this year. I emailed them photos, they called back and had a new vial in the mail by the end of the day.

The fellow stated that his reputation was worth sending the extra vial, online reputation meant "everything." Now that I've been around more I understand.

I would hope that ANY vendor would understand their business.

The whole gelling bit was curious - I bought their BAC along with their product. Everything was room temperature, let the solution in slowly. Who knows. I'm glad they made it right.

Thanks for this post! I thought i was going crazy in the past few days!

So i'm in my second week of 10mg Tirz. I love the suppression, and it’s perfect, but anhedonia has also hit hard!

Since i started Sema, i have had this feeling. But i couldn’t put my finger on it, it was mild until now lol.

I thought my depression had come back, but it doesn’t feel that way. So i wondered if it could be ADHD. After doing some research, i finally stumble upon the word anhedonia. I had never heard of it, but it sure feel like depression, yikes.

I'm not sure if this is just confirmation bias, but i see many people with anhedonia while taking GLP 1 who are also have a history of depression or ADHD.

I think it's all about brain chemistry, and those brains are maybe more sensitive to the side effect.

I feel much better on Reta, but not 100 % better. It comes and goes.

For a data point for anyone here, I definitely have been feeling anhedonia when I moved on to 12.5mg Tirz.

I've added a CJC-1295 (no dac) / Ipamorelin blend, mostly because I was also starting a 12 week run of Tesamorelin, and my research suggests added benefits from the Ipa and a somewhat different pathway with the CJC-1295. I was planning on starting with a single pin in the am, then titrating up to a PM pin as well after a week, just to check my tolerance and sides. What I found though, after that first AM pin, was that I felt bright, energized, and focused almost the entire day. So much so that I did the PM pin on the very first day as well.

I don't know if this is something that applies to everyone, or lots of people, or if I'm just an oddball with the HG secretagogues, but the CJC/IPA is absolutely phenomenal for me. Averaging the test results for the three vials and assuming the entire kit will be the same, I'm pinning CJC 274mcg and Ipa 200mcg. I'm planning on titrating up to 400mcg Ipa, despite mixed information that Ipa may saturate out at 150mcg/pin.

Hope this helps someone!

Adderall generic, extended, 20mg. My psychiatrist prescribes it.

That may be it.

I felt a bit blah on Concerta generic. That was compounded with Tirz. Went off Concerta, found I didn’t need it anymore on Tirz.

For me** it’s a slightly different beast than depression but yes familiar.

Attention gets roped in there because of dopamine and the prefrontal cortex. “Executive Function” is 7 different functions (if I remember) so yes adhd can cover a large number of combination of traits.

If you have ovaries, estrogen feeds into dopamine too, and therefore attention.

For me depression tends to spiral itself down. Adhedonia is more… grey-rock-ish. Doesn’t do much, much less spiral down. Which for me is part of the hazard: seems harder to recognize when I don’t have to slay the “I suck for (reason)” depression-dragon. This pushes me to be better with self care. Adhedonia is more sneaky because it’s less “active” in a way.

** I’m saying “for me” a ton because everyone’s different. And I don’t want to discredit others’ experiences.

Very similar in that many things become muted. Emotions for sure. I’m trying to tell if Adhedonia affects my color vision. Depression when I’m low tends to mute the range of color I see.

I’m soup. lol.

wow limited color would give me depression! Love your new kitty avatar 😍

First week titrateing up to 12.5mg yep. It wasn't depression. It wasn't ANYTHING. Things that I did to bring me joy did not. For about a week. If not for this thread, I don't know if I would've considered it. The weather has been shitty. I attribute much to weather and barometric pressure. It kinda improved in ten days, or two weeks. Weather is still shitty. 💩

Its gut–brain axis via vagus nerve → brain, the Gut-derived serotonin, its mainly the Blahh effekt we gets... or serotanin promotes calm... the gut is the key to your emotional center

🙂

I think it has to do with the dopamine receptor.

There’s some really cool research going on with gut-brain axis yes.

Definitely some dampening going on. I don’t know enough to say which part of the process, but it’s super interesting how many addictions and negative behaviors improve.

It’s been a minute, so I thought I would post a before and after of my cat. When we found her and about 6 months later. Also, a little treat for those with foot fetishes🤭
