GLP-1 Apprentice
I run about 10 miles a day in the morning, pretty much every day. I haven't found that my shot schedule or dosage really affects it much. Was on reta but just switched to Tirz, so we'll see if that holds. On occasion I'll get some reflux toward the end of my run. If I take some tums beforehand, that doesn't really happen. I also take 1mg mots-c in the morning, so maybe that helps to mitigate any fatigue from the GLP-1? Prior to my run I take in electrolytes and a 200cal energy bar (basically a fancy granola bar).UghItsStupidNIHateIT said:Do any runners on here use tirzepatide? I do split dosing, so 3.5mg Tuesday at 8am and 3.5mg Friday at 8pm. I do weight training twice a week (mon/thu), yoga twice a week (wed/sat), a running three times a week (sun/tues/fri). I’m doing “couch to 5k” and am currently doing 4minute run/2.5 minute walk intervals. The issue I’m running into is that my Tuesday evening run, I have absolutely no energy and can’t keep the right pace. Has anyone else had issues with exercise, specifically cardio, on their shot days?
