Do any runners on here use tirzepatide? I do split dosing, so 3.5mg Tuesday at 8am and 3.5mg Friday at 8pm. I do weight training twice a week (mon/thu), yoga twice a week (wed/sat), a running three times a week (sun/tues/fri). I’m doing “couch to 5k” and am currently doing 4minute run/2.5 minute walk intervals. The issue I’m running into is that my Tuesday evening run, I have absolutely no energy and can’t keep the right pace. Has anyone else had issues with exercise, specifically cardio, on their shot days?

I run about 10 miles a day in the morning, pretty much every day. I haven't found that my shot schedule or dosage really affects it much. Was on reta but just switched to Tirz, so we'll see if that holds. On occasion I'll get some reflux toward the end of my run. If I take some tums beforehand, that doesn't really happen. I also take 1mg mots-c in the morning, so maybe that helps to mitigate any fatigue from the GLP-1? Prior to my run I take in electrolytes and a 200cal energy bar (basically a fancy granola bar).

If you're running that much you should not have to split dose Tirz twice a week. Doing a lot of cardio on Tirz just melts the fat away. I think of it as doubling my workout when on it. You are very active so the Tirz should just help keep the food noise down, but you still need to protein up to repair. Absolutely eat healthy and drink lots of water. With how much you're working out losing weight is not a problem and Tirz will just accelerate it, but two dose a week might be much. On Sat is kind of like a cheat day for me. That's when I take no shots and kind of recover from my workouts. Also it's the day before my Reta shot so it's easier to eat and enjoy meals.

If you're serious about the workout that you are doing then here's my shot schedule. Also run Reta like 2-3 months then take a break.

Sun : Reta (yours would be Tirz) (fat burner)

Mon - Fri (Mornings) : NAD+ / 5-Amino-1MQ (energy boosters)

Mon - Fri (Before Bed) : CJC(no dac) + Ipa / KLOW (recomp & repair)

Sat : No shots

I run like 5-10 miles a day. Yoga 3 times a week. Lift 3 times a week.

I tried MOTSC, but I get a histamine reaction and I don't like it.

I'm also 38yr - 145lb. This stack has allowed me to push my training harder for better recovery. I run ultra marathons.

I don't want to go into anaphylactic shock either.

If you want a boost to your training, give bromantane a shot. Buddy of mine on here is a mountain biker and very fond of it. Unlike MotsC, it's well researched and tested on humans lol.
