I am on 200mcg synthroid and 5mg T3 for Hashimotos. The thyroid meds already screw with my sleep pretty bad, but adding retatrutide (12mg/weekly) has made it worse for me to sleep soundly. I always wake up at 6-7AM.

Sermorelin worked fine to help me with sleep until I added retatrutide. What do you guys suggest?

Maybe dsip and as mentioned epthalon.

Has anyone ever tried epitalon and NOT had greatly improved sleep? I feel like I've never heard anyone include it in their "didn't do shit for me" list. Also, I will never be without epitalon in my freezer.

I'm probably the only one who didn't have a good experience with epitalon. I do love DSiP, though.

I've GOT to read up more about that one; I keep seeing it mentioned.

What dosage did you use, if you dont mind telling? I checked up on DSIP here and saw that top three peptides list where DSIP wasn't rated as high as Epitalon, relatively speaking. Also, few of the studies reports synergistic effects with thymalin

DSIP? I love it. Definitely worth looking into...but like epitalon for me, you never really know how it will be for you.

I am doing 500mcg before bed. I also tried epitalon but got nothing from it, just a sore neck and I was up all night. I read some people get energized so I followed someone else's advice to take it mid to late afternoon, but it still gave me a sore neck and insomnia. I guess the only way to know which one works for you is to try them. Start low because you don't know how your body will react. My first epitalon dose was 1mg and boy did I wish I had only taken 250mcg (or less)!

it did absolutly zero for me

and dsip was worst

magnesium gylcinate and doxepin. GLP-1s have transformed my already trash sleep into a dumpster fire.

Made me wired close to bed time. Taking it hours before helped but I still woke up groggy and felt like I slept less and felt worse.

Did nothing for me, tried it 2X. It may have increased my telomeres/lifespan a bit, but I would settle for some sleep right meow.

I've been trying it for 3 weeks and there has been no improvement in my chronically bad sleep; still waking up at 2 or 3 am and sleeping 4-5 hours a night. Going to finish the cycle and try DSIP.

I think I may have accidentally triggered an "Epitalon didn't do shit for me" thread. 😀 This is me and KPV. My mom says it's because my arthritis is so mild to begin with (just a tiny touch in my hands compared to hers all over), and if it was worse, I'd be singing a different tune.

How’s your sleep hygiene? Have you tried meditating or box breathing? Stop looking at a screen and hour before bed? Shower before bed? Good exercise? There’s a lot behavioral adjustments you can try before a synthetic med.

I take 600mg Ashwagandha and 400mg Magnesium Glycinate tablets a half to one hour before bed time. Waking up between 6-7 is great for me. I was getting the cortisol hit about 3:30 am and sometimes again at 5am, the supplements helped.

i run the same... ashwaganda and mag glycinate and my sleep is pretty decent as well.

I prefer NOW branded minerals, so i grabbed their magnesium glycinate from amazon. I only take 2 of these though, so 200mg.

For the ashwa, i went with microingredients gummies. I take 4 within 30-45 mins of wanting to sleep. This ends up being a month supply and 600mg.

For years (and up to a few months before starting reta) i was taking dr prescribed trazadone and it worked decent for me. I wanted to get totally off it though so i switched to these and have actually had better sleep since.

Another huge factor is how much i eat or drink and how long before bed time. Eating before bed is the absolute sleep-wrecker for me. If i eat around an hour or less before bedtime it's not going to be a good night's sleep.

Same. I'm on T3 and T4, which actually helped my sleep compared to being unmedicated. But Reta has me waking up at 5/6 am and unable to get back to sleep, when I clearly need more sleep. Super annoying. I've tried all the things, nothing so far has worked: melatonin, magnesium, ashwagandha, no screens, white noise, blackout curtains, l-theanine, stopping caffeine, sleep-aids, eating, not-eating, etc etc etc.
