Not sure if I believe this….. Maybe wishful thinking on the part of Lindt.

Lindt says weight-loss drugs users are eating more chocolate, not less

Chocolate sales are rising faster among U.S. users of GLP-1 weight-loss drugs than in ‌the rest of the population, Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Spruengli said on Tuesday, citing data that defied forecasts the drugs would reduce confectionery demand.

Sounds right, since I've been been using reta I crave sweets and chocolate.

Wow! Another reason (beside the increased heart rate) for me not to try reta yet.

Did you crave these things before reta or are these new cravings?

I guess I'm an oddball, because for me the opposite happened.

When on Reta I have no sweet cravings, but instead I've started eating more (Lindt) 90% chocolate (which is actually pretty bitter) 🙃

Also, my heart rate only increased (<10 bpm) in the first 2-4 weeks. Now it's back to normal.

If these are the criteria for you to not take Reta, I'd say you should just try and see what happens. (You can always stop)

Reta has made my cravings for sweet/addictive foods completely disappear. Even when I'm starving the stuff I crave now is hot food and never ice cream or soda like I used to. Only been on it a week though so I really hope this lasts!

Edit: Also I agree, dark chocolate has become a lot more palatable and milk chocolate is way less appealing. I usually hate dark chocolate.

I have been buying Quest Peanut Butter Cups with 11G of Protein. That's my only "cheat" snack.

No,

I was always a crunchy and salty snack craver, until Reta.
