That’s pretty solid and everything that I’m trying to do besides the HITT which I would love to do!

So diid you do 1mg 4 weeks > 2mg 4 weeks > 3mg 2 weeks so far?

We almost have the same start day!!
I noticed that!

I have been taking a “low and slow” approach to dosing, and going up only when I feel the food noise reduction start to lessen. I started at 1mg for the first 5 weeks, then went up to 2mg for 4 weeks, now on 3mg for the 2nd week.

I am aiming to keep going up by 1mg every 4-5 weeks, and hoping to cap out at 6mg, if I even need to go that high.

This is my first run through with all of this so just listening to my body really.

The food noise reduction has been profoundly effective for me, and my diet has helped keep me regular, so no real side effects happening. At this point I don’t think I’ll need to go up much higher before I hit my goal, but we’ll see.

Overall I’m just blown away by the efficacy.

You sound like you have a solid plan in place! I am going pretty hard into the exercise routine, which honestly, may be the wrong approach, as it mimics past weight cycles where I go all in and then stop because it’s unsustainable longterm… I told myself this journey would be about building sustainable habits… I don’t see myself continuing this routine weekly forever. But feeling great so very happy right now.

Lots of luck and success to you on your research journey!

Started reta 6 weeks ago at 0.5mg every 3 days for a month, then titrated up to 1mg every 3 days for the past two weeks. Hitting +/-1800kcal with a minimum of 100g protein daily.

I tried Noom and went from 165lbs to 150lbs, but only maintained the weight loss for a couple of weeks before I rocketed back up to 170. I tried intermittent fasting, but it was too easy to overeat even with one or two meals a day for me. Through all of this I was still drinking too much.

Now I track my calories and macros with Gemini and reta makes the caloric deficit way more tolerable.

I will say I don't know what my goal weight is. I am an avid rock climber and have performed well at weights ranging from 135-145. 135 seemed too skinny, but I had the best season of climbing I'd ever had (it was also 14 years ago). It also seems that reta is allowing me to maintain muscle mass while losing the fat, so my goal weight might actually be higher than I expected once I hit the BF% I'm looking for.

I Started Reta research at 2 mg and I’m coming up on week 4. I’m still undecided whether to follow the Lilly 2–4–6 titration or just increase as needed. So far I’m losing about 2.5 lbs per week, which feels pretty optimal. I do go back and forth after reading posts about glucagon effects at higher doses and people saying the “sweet spot” is 6–8 mg, but it’s hard to argue with the results I’m getting right now.

Sides: No issues with food noise, but I am wide awake after about 4 hours of sleep 🫨

I too am honestly blown away by how well this works.

Adding workouts seems to take it to another level. I’ve definitely been guilty of turning my home gym into a second job, but like you said, settling into a sustainable 3–4 day per week routine feels like the right move.

Appreciate you sharing. I’m still an excited newbie here trying to soak it all in.

Best of luck to you, and looking forward to seeing how your journey progresses!

Heck yeah!

I’m right there with you. And likewise!

Sorry to hear sleep is not consistent, I have not experienced that, but it’s hard to gauge because I really have been a terrible sleeper my whole life and that pattern hasn’t changed while on Reta. I struggle to fall asleep, but once I’m out, I’m out.

(I am new to GLPs too, not new to fitness and nutrition regimes, have a bit more to offer there.)

I’ll keep an eye out for any feedback you have once you get into the 6-8mg range. Maybe I’ll rethink my approach.

Cheers

Male, 27 years old, 236 starting, down to 224 in 3 weeks on 2mg per week. Week 4 I had to drop my dose and didn't lose anything, but I weigh in in the evenings after dinner and I was probably bloated from creatine and stuff.

Started in October.

Still work to do but getting there !

Staring weight 225 lbs

Current weight 207 lbs

Goal weight is probably around 170 lbs

I'm about 5'10 so if I can manage lower I'll take it.

On a low tirz dose for about a month and a half, good initial pace but I know it'll slow down soon enough.

Been curious about reta, but still having good effect from tirz at a low dose, so thinking I'll stick with it for as long as I see decent progress.

That looks solid progress, and routine.

Are you using any research products with your program?

Great progress!

I read that a lot of folks thrive at 6-8mg of Reta. You have been at 8mg for almost 5 months.

Have you been able to maintain the same weight loss over the past 5 months, any plateaus, is it still working good, and do you plan to titrate up or stack something with it?

You are getting close to your GW.

Thanks!

Great questions - I've actually entered a plateau and the weight loss slowed down considerably for the past couple of months or so. What's really interesting to me is that even though the number on the scale stopped moving down so fast, this turns out to be a body recomposition period for me. Despite the plateau I've definitely lost fat all over, and I look like I've gained considerable amount of muscle. Veins popped out all over my body, and in general I look way more fit now than when the plateau started. People that see me often of course noticed the initial drop in weight back at the end of 2025, but have just recently also started commenting how "jacked" and "ripped" I look now.

I think Reta is still working just fine at this same dose, I have no desire to titrate up. I think I'm just gonna cruise at 8mg until my goal weight (I hope I've finally broken the plateau and started losing again.) I stack Tesa+Ipa with it.

I am not certain where I want to end up weight wise. It will likely be in the 130s but my real focus now is just getting stronger. I have been walking since day 1 and started incorporating resistance bands about halfway through. We are in the middle of building a house, like we are literally doing the work, and living in an outbuilding until it is done. We are also in the literal middle of nowhere. So that has made the muscle building part more difficult. But I know I am stronger than I was 9 months ago and that works until I can get a better workout situation.

Currently on about 12mg of tirz, 70mg of NAD+ daily, and 2.5mg of GHKcu daily. When I run out of NAD I don't plan to continue as I am not seeing any kind of effect. The GHKcu I just ordered a couple of kits, lol.

As of last week, currently on 10mg tirzepatide every 6 days, with 500mg of metformin daily, which is an improvement from 2000mg.

That’s great news! Especially considering how hard it usually is to get jacked while cutting. You’re defying the norm!

Honestly, that’s a great trade; not having to cut and then rebuild muscle later. Keep up the great work, you’re journey inspiring!

58M, 6'

01/30/2026 217lbs, started Reta, 1mg (also taking BPC, TB, and GHK-Cu at this time). Reduced apatite. Not feeling much like doing too much.

02/13/2026 211lbs, Titration to 2mg after 2 weeks, more noticeable lack of apatite, nausea, some lethargy, increased protein, psyllium husk fiber and magnesium.

03/06/2026 200lbs, Increased to 3mg, feeling pretty nauseous, unwell, after a couple of days, decided to go back to 2mg for next time.

03/13/2026 195lbs, reduced to 2mg, hoping to straighten this out soon. Experiencing increase in mucous in back of throat, could be because of lawn maintenance or peptides. Wait and see.

03/20/26 198lbs, increased mucous, feeling like mucous is getting thicker, could still be from grass or pollen, sneezing my head off for a few weeks now.

03/27/26 195lbs, still at 2mg, considering ceasing Reta and other peptides to see if responsible for darkening mucous.

04/03/26 196lbs, ceased all peptides to find out what's causing the congestion in the throat

04/10/26 195lbs, no peptides taken, for about a week, symptoms seem to be abating, very slowely.

04/20/26 198lbs, Started back with BPC (known good peptide), no symptoms

04/23/26 199lbs, added TB peptide, no symptoms

Lost 22lbs after 8 weeks. Not sure if allergic to Reta, will try lower 1mg dose on 4/27/2026
