I second the MiraFast suggestion. MiraLax didn’t touch it, but MiraFast did. I do my darndest to get 4-5L water a day now, along with magnesium supplements. I also take fiber gummies, either 12 mg, 3x day or 18 mg, 2x day.Smiter said:I have this issue. I am currently using MiraFast soft chews. They use magnesium hydroxide. Drink a lot of water along with it.

Yeah, I second what my BFF Neuro said above, @deiwukas. Miralax didn't work for me either.Neurogroot said:I second the MiraFast suggestion. MiraLax didn’t touch it, but MiraFast did. Not to be too vile, but 2 months or so ago, it got so bad that it began pushing on stuff, ended up making me seriously wonder if I had prostate cancer. Struggled to pee, or do anything, even if I really had to go.
Luckily I finally did what I had to. Took roughly 2-3 days for inflammation to go down and now I’m good. And I ended up getting the PSA panel on bloodwork, happy to say I’m at 0.8 total so things are looking up.
Fuck...after my sleeve surgery, popcorn was the only thing I could eat without puking my guts out. I got the cramps too with severe colic like bloat. Hmmm...I should stay away from those teeth-rotting savage kernels.PAPoots said:Careful with the fiber. If your water is off, you can be in for a hell of a cramp. I believe the outcome was a bolus getting created in the colon because digestion had slowed down. I think the person that had the issue ate so much popcorn that it created an immovable ball of fiber in his intestines that they had to go in and remove it. I rarely eat popcorn anymore for that reason. Because it has caused me cramps.

I can attest to long term use. I had nerve pain for a few years and using oxy it was a life saver for me. Used it daily for over 5 years and made it livable.FRMN01 said:MiraLax short for miracle laxative. It can be safely used for long term. I use 3/4 of a dose every other day. But it takes 2-5 days to start working. Enema is the best choice for urgent relief.

Heck, any morning coffee and a smoke used to light my ass up. I quit 3.5 years ago though.Mz-Ace said:cheap instant coffee may assist an explosion![]()

I pushed so hard it was very painful, blood squirted from my gums on the toilet floor, I mean I pushed very very hard and I know I should not do it, but I had no other choice, its like I ate a tree branch, I even wanted to investigate wtf was that, but after I "unclogged" there was diarrhea on top of that log, so I could not check.Smiter said:Yeah, I second what my BFF Neuro said above, @deiwukas . So what did you do finally?
damn man...sorry..yeah thats the type where suppositories and enema type resolutions are needed. Stock up on mirafastdeiwukas said:I pushed so hard it was very painful, blood squirted from my gums on the toilet floor, I mean I pushed very very hard and I know I should not do it, but I had no other choice, its like I ate a tree branch, I even wanted to investigate wtf was that, but after I "unclogged" there was diarrhea on top of that log, so I could not check.
When you have serious constipation problems it just makes it worse, I actually had to quit instant coffee, as it would not make me go to the toilet, but dry me up instead.Mz-Ace said:cheap instant coffee may assist an explosion![]()
I have Mag07, but again, everytime I read about it it says that it should not be used daily, as in the long run it will just make my gut lazy. I say on reddit there are people who say that they use it daily, like one capsule a day, but I wonder what would happen if they stopped, maybe after a long time of usage it would make you naturally more constipated and I am afraid of it, I dont want to use anything that could make it worse in a long run.Camlbacker said:If you have tolerance issues with any of the stuff anyone has mentioned up to now, you can get ozonated magnesium from Amazon for $10 or so. The name of the product is Oxytone by Horbaach. You can take anywhere from 1-3 capsules to move things along up to 5-10 to prep for a colonoscopy. Start with one capsule with a tall glass of water and titrate up daily. Don't massively up your dose, especially if you're not working from home. Shit works, and is very predictable once you know how it works with your body.

Prunes and Prune juice helped me.deiwukas said:Started reta on 04/08 .5 mg. Always had problems with constipation, only remember having good quality poop time during times when i consistently did not eat foods like ice cream, pizzas, alcohol and cola. By quality poop I mean I go to the toilet mostly every 7-9 days. Mostly it is a bigger poop, but not scary or impossible to pass.
Now on reta I made a big mistake and ate ice-cream few days in a row. Now I had an ass destroyer shit on 05/10, I felt like i cant pass it so i used medicine, which helped me, but still, the experience was not pleasure. Now today on 05/19 (even though i had good food and no alcohol during these 9 days, also no poop) I had even worse experience. Currently on 2mg reta. So my thinking is reta makes me poop too hard, its not reta fault, I know my body is just like that.
I have already bought mag07, but internet suggest to not use it constantly. I really don't know what to do, reta works and I want to keep using it, but I also don't want to have such problems ever again, of course I stopped eating ice-cream/milk. The only thing which has lactose in my diet is probably butter/ghee.
Do you have any suggestions on how could I improve my gut? Any similar experiences and how did you made it better? My main concern is that my next toilet experience will be one which will either rip my ass or give me some kind of different problems, because I never pushed so hard as today.
