Where do you reconstitute your research chemicals? Den, kitchen, bathroom(shudder), trailer out back? How sterile do you make/ keep it? Are your supplies in the same room ? I use a spare room that will soon house a guest for a month and am trying to figure out another option. Do share.

I use my formal dining room, which is rarely in use. I need a table and the lighting in there is pretty good. (It's also close to the kitchen and a half bath for handwashing.) Almost all my supplies are migrating into there as well, except the peps that are in the fridge. The bottom half of the buffet now holds all manner of supplies like bac water, syringes, extra wipes, gloves, instructions sheets and other helpful sheets I've printed. My computer/desk is in one corner where I track all things peps on a spreadsheet. I do use a stainless steel tray and a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol to sanitize before reconstituting.

With all the pets I have, I use the spare bedroom. Otherwise, I would use the kitchen.

Glass top stove in kitchen. I actually bought these to keep things organized and clean while reconstituting and filtering.

I use a kitchen counter as well. Start with basic but extra-thorough handwashing and normal cleaning of the kitchen counter. Then I wipe down the counter with Target brand Isopropyl 70% alcohol wipes and allow it to air dry. Then I get my stuff out (needles, syringes, BAC, vials, vial lids) and wipe all of those things with the alcohol wipes too. Then I'm ready to start opening packages and reconstituting.

I do all this in secret so it's in the dunny with the door locked balancing on the edge of the tub

I've only had to do it once so far. Did it at the dining room table on a paper towel. I would make a terrible pharmacist, I guess.

Haha. That’s exactly what I did the first few times. I eventually purchased a stainless steel tray so that I could at least pretend to be sanitary while filtering. Unfortunately, my dining table also serves as my peptide table and my “office.” Not ideal. With a wife and two kids, there is no extra bedroom/office. I envy those who have a private space to deal with their peptides. I’m new to filtering, so it’s always nerve-racking for me when others are around.

Kitchen counter. I disinfect the counter, put a paper towel down, and go. Supplies are in a kitchen cabinet, right above the coffee cups.

I started out exactly the same... then slowly figured out a system that works for me. 🙂

Tbh I use the counter of my large vanity in my bedroom. Since this isn't a daily occurrence for me, I see no problem using this as my "personal" work space. Btw, the toilet is Not in the same room. 😆 I only have 1 RS project. If I had more, I'd rethink the location, maybe!

@conzopiriani has been wanting a bedroom vanity for a while now, haha.

But seriously, I think a small desk in the bedroom is best for privacy.

Alcohol wiped kitchen counter with use of a disinfected tray I got from the $ Tree.
