What’s in a Guarantee?

While endotoxin testing isn't super common, this is the first time a result of this order of magnitude has been seen, and even an order of magnitude less is uncommon. The vast majority are at trace levels.

No, this isn't a common issue everyone has. One finisher appears to have had a major lapse and everyone who resold that batch is going to be affected.

If people are vocally pissed about this it'll help motivate resellers to demand the guarantee from their finishers (and do some testing themselves) which they can then pass on to us, similar to where we are for mass and purity.

The problem hasn't been addressed correctly though. Jeep put out a nothing statement basically saying 'sucks to be you' to everyone.

Nobody honestly expects refunds. But we do expected the people who sold potentially lethal kits to at least find out where the failure came from so it can be put right. That hasn't happened. It's just 'well we aren't Eli Lilly'... That isn't exactly assuring people they're going to take action to ensure safety in the future is it?
She made it very clear that they will work on improving to ensure the safety in the future?

Please use actual quotes from the Vendor not made up ones because 'f*CK you all 🥰' or 'sucks to be you' is not good enough, I understand the frustration but its only been a few days, it takes time to start gathering information and results for the future

I've always been told that the goal of the testing is to have a picture of the quality of the suppliers product. It's to keep them honest. Well, their product got caught and everyone should talk with their feet. I think anyone is stupid to buy from them anymore unless they add endotoxin test results on all coa going forward.

Full stop. There is nothing special about jeep and there are other vendors to use with better prices. Maybe those other vendors also haven't been caught yet. Time will tell.

What I don't understand is why anyone would pay for these tests without endotoxins. Spend just a little bit more money and get the full results.

For me it's just a reminder to pin the first shot from a kit at a very small dose and watch for small reactions that might occur.

Hopefully but if endo does get a guarantee then expect to pay more.. the thing is then most people will complain cause the price is too high, move on to the cheapest vendor, get dirty vials, complain….

How do we find out which vendors use better supply chains?

And I expect to see more results like this in the near future, precisely because many vendors source from the same places
Ask them about the quality of their supply chain. However you’ll won’t know if they ‘re telling the truth.

Think of it like insurance. I'd rather have the prices higher by the % of batches that fail (should be low) rather than decide to stock up on a batch and have that batch fail with no recourse and be out many hundreds.
Yeah but there will be more costs than % of batches that fail if a vendor wants to guarantee endo/sterility.

1. Higher quality supplier - because obviously there are low quality, cheaper suppliers that you would be unable to use with a guarantee like this.

2. Testing for endo/sterilty. To quality test supplier

3. Risk of supplier sending dirty batch and not making it right. Then you get stuck with a shit load of dirty vials you can’t offload because of guarantee.

4. Cost of guarantee. When dirt vials inevitably get through to consumer it’s gonna cost to fulfill the guarantee.

Obviously there are concrete costs like testing and higher quality supplier. Then there are the costs of risk which are not clear and it takes skill to price in.

It may be higher than you think but I am curious how much more are you willing to pay for this guarantee? For me I would pay double if a company had endo/sterility guarantee and real batch numbers but everyone has a different risk profile. Also remember we are currently getting these peptides for shit next to nothing.

This is the beauty of a truly free market. If you don’t like how someone does business; their price, their policies, their toxin levels…

Don’t buy from them. Plenty of other options. The market will decide if they should still be in business.

These people are literal drug dealers. What do you expect?

There has been a lot of consternation over Jeep’s response to the recent endotoxin failure of its T30 orange caps

There even have been calls for a boycott

But is that really the right approach?

Or is this simply a reminder that this what the grey market really is, and what we actually signed up for?

All of us knew endo wouldn’t be guaranteed by jeep

All of us knew that no other vendor does

All of us knew that endos can’t be filtered

All of us knew that “no guarantee” meant “no guarantee whether endo is 2eu or 2000eu”

All of us knew that no guarantee on endo means we might have to throw away a $120 kit

Jeep’s message was worded poorly. It doesn’t sit well emotionally. I’m human, so I feel it, too.

But this literally was the deal all purchasers made

To expect a change now is unreasonable

And as someone who has spent thousands on peps and still has yet to chuck a single kit bc of endotoxins, I know I’ve come out ahead on the risk I assumed when I bought without an endo guarantee

As far as I know, Jeep has never reneged on its mass and purity guarantee. In fact, they regularly compensate testers for the cost of the test in addition to giving a refund on short product. Nor have they ever asked for more money from any customer if a test revealed an overfill.

Why in the world would we boycott such a vendor?

Trust me, it’s hard for me to say it all. I still think they should do something because we are not all robots and we don’t make our decisions simply based on the dollars and cents.

There is also this general sense that they are profiting off of our desire to be healthy, and this just points out the fact that they don’t care about our health, they only give a sh*t about the money

And that feels gross

But that literally is what we paid
I have a higher risk tolerance than a lot of folks on this forum I guess. I would caulk this up as a loss and move on. Paying .10 cents on a dollar and expecting the world is just foolish.

Spot on in my opinion

No. Making it clear is saying 'we investigated and found the contamination got in in this way so we will do x y and z to ensure it won't happen again."

Not an empty promise of "we will do something" with no real evidence of a plan.

Maybe they will just change their name. If you see a new vendor named FIAT or CHRYSLER you will know....
DODGE is their make, even if they don't change their brand-name

My cheap opinion. This endo issue is expected when in unregulated space. . Be bold, brothers. Thank you to the tester for the wake up call for everyone. But I'll take my chances

Every time I hear guarantee, it brings me back to Tommy Boy. Miss me some Chris Farley…
