Still on 1mg (where i started), just did 4th shot and so far have no reason to even think about increasing.

I'm getting sleepy earlier and sleep like a baby. Last night, my wife and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the UFC fight, it was the first time we experienced for ourselves the appetite suppression and not wanting too much fatty foods. For the first time, I didn't order wings in a sauce. I finished 8 wings but didn't finish my fries. My wife are 4 wings and didn't finish her mac and cheese. My wife probably lost 4 lbs just from reducing inflammation. We are on our first week (2 doses of .5) Amazing stuff.
Awesome! Good to know I am not alone in the side effects!! LFG!!!

Started at 2mg. On my 3rd shot I'll be moving up to 3mg. Still very early but feeling good about it so far.
Stay on 2mg for 4 weeks and let it build up as suggested in the trials.

Are you losing weight?

week 6 on Reta. Using to shred that last few pounds of stubborn abdo fat that old men cannot get rid off… currently pinning every 3.5 days, 1.5mg… I do a lot of intense cross fit training and this dose is really effective for me.

6 kgs lost is great. No side effects when you started to higher up your dose? And are you going to the gym now multiple times a week that you are on Reta?.
I'm down 40lbs which is 18kg in your world. I started at 2mg/4weeks, then 4mg/4weeks, 6mg/6weeks, 7mg/2weeks and just started 8mg Friday. No gym, I'm older.

I’m on 7.5 mg Tirz and 5mg reta

May seem high but it’s been a sweet spot the last few weeks and I plan to stay at it and eventually lower my Tirz and raise my Reta!

18 kg is crazy without gym. In how many months have you been able to lose this much weight? And did you notice any side effects with higher up your dose?
4 months. Some heartburn once in a while on shot day, and that's pretty much gone away. Neither my wife of I have had any of those sides they talked about in the studies or here except that heartburn.

Currently 2mgs every 5th day, just started 3 Weeks ago came from 0,5mg to 1mg to 1,5mg and now 2mg today, lets see

I’m 213lbs, down from 225. Took my 9th jab today. This was my 4th shot at 3mg and I decided not to titrate up because I’m still losing weight. While I don’t have much appetite suppression, I get full so fast it’s uncomfortable if I eat too much. I really feel it is working well and while I might see what 4 is like soon, I’m in no hurry.

I started at 0.5mg for the first 2 weeks, then titrated up to 0.75mg for the last 2 weeks (currently on week 4 now).

So far it’s working pretty well, so I’m trying not to rush things. My plan is basically: if the current dose keeps working, stay there. If progress slows or the effects fade, then slowly edge up.

I know everyone is different but I read a lot of posts where people start at low doses and don't need to titrate up that high of a dose.

I'm curious as to if people go all the way up to 12mg like in the clinical trials, if if they have reaped most benefits at lower doses.

So my question is:

How long have you been taking Reta for?

Where along are you in your journey?

What is your current dosage?
Ive been taking reta for about 6 weeks, 2mg/weekly broken into two doses.

I lift 5x a week as well as 30-50 minutes cardio depending on fatigue.

I'm having great results, 5 meals a day in a caloric deficit and I'm still hungry for breakfast in the am, and have the occasional craving for a "cheat meal" here and there but I'm strict with my protocol and allow myself one cheat meal a week. And I'm doing great, losing weight at a constant, steady rate. 220lbs in the beginning down to 195. Over a 12 week period (half while using reta)

2mg. It works for me currently and I don’t see any need to increase as my weight loss is steady and at a good/healthy rate. I didn’t have lots to lose to begin with though.

I got my hands on it before I did much research and went up in dose way too quick. Started feeling appatite suppression at about 1mg a week and went up till I hit 4mg/week. I stopped there because the skin sensitivity had me ready to shave my arms and legs because the hairs felt weird on my clothes. Lost about 10lbs in a month and a half and came off. I stay at a comfortable 1mg a week now to squash food noise.

I was at 2.5mg for my 1st week ( I have used Reta before just took a break ). And currently at 5mg for 2-3 weeks. Down 13 kilos

Here's my updated path so far (6'2"; SW: 286lbs, CW: 283lbs, GW: 185lbs)

Week #1: 2mg

Week #2: 4mg

Week #3: 4mg

Each dose in this first month has been split doses every ~3.5 days. After starting week 1 with split doses I just found that I enjoyed multiple injection days so I kept it up for Month #1.

I've been busting my ass working out 5 days a week (Kettlebells 3x days a week+ Rowing Machine 5x days a week with weekends off), and also I hydrate quite a bit each day, typically drinking 3L per day with electrolytes. I also am eating no more than 1.4k calories each day while also making sure that I'm following my protein macro goals (~137g currently - trying to get to 160g per day).

For the first 3 weeks I didn't see much in terms of weight loss (see screenshot) but just recently saw my first big dip when weighing post-workout, so there's some encouragement. If it weren't for feeling sated after meals, I would suspect I may have a weak kit.

I think being new to the workouts (after being sedentary for years and years) coupled with electrolytes and water-weight has been obscuring my actual weight loss a bit. So I think titrating up right now would be premature. My lowest weight of 281lbs was taken post-workout, which is where I tend to see my best weigh-in numbers.

Plans For Month #2

I'm going to switch to shots 1x week - moving away from split dosing to see how that feels in the spirit of research.

It's definitely taking patience to not keep titrating up - but I'll plan to stick with 4mg per week for month 2 to give it some time.

I have plans to purchase from a different vendor to help rule out weak batch, since that thought has crossed my mind as well.

Just getting started, but did my first dose at 0.5mg with no side effects.

I’m planning to try to maintain at a very low dose, I’ll up it to 1mg next week and reassess after 3 weeks.

I’m pretty close to my goal weight, so I want to keep my doses as low as possible. Might bump up to 2mg depending, but don’t plan on going past that.

I know they say start low and go slow, but I came from Tirz high dose. I titrated up over 8 weeks, then I was on 8 mg for 2 months, now down to 6 mg the last 3 weeks, because I got anhedone.

I'm very close to my goal weight, so it's slow weight loss now.

Did your anhedonia improve after going back down? I've gotten significant anhedonia from higher doses of tirz and have been titrating back down to 5 mg because I'm at goal. Anhedonia still hasn't improved

I'm on 2.5 mg every 7 days, and I get full very quickly. I have no trouble eating my 2,600 calories and 210 grams of protein. I'll stick with this as long as I don't feel hungry.

Started at 2mg a week split into 2 doses. About 6 weeks later increased to 3mg/week as food noise came back.

Now another 3 weeks on I can sense the food noise again so thinking of moving to 4mg/week.

As for weight loss, I haven't lost more than 7 pounds but I didn't have that much to lose, really now it's just belly fat mainly which is hard to lose, i'm in my 50s. I do feel like my body has recompositioned a bit though so pure weight loss doesn't tell the full story and I'm mainly doing this to get down my blood sugar which has actually worked. I already exercised daily but added a bit of extra weight training to head off muscle loss, I eat as much protein as I can.

I really liked the lack of food noise I got initially, it annoys me constantly thinking about food and when I can next eat - so if titrating up reta doesn't bring that back I might add tirz or a very small amount of cag (have never tried either).

Planning to add tesamorelin to help work on the belly fat....
