I was injecting roids I got from a random email address mailed from Maldova and paid with a western union money wire in like 2010 lmfao. This glp1 peptide stuff is basically a trip to the doctors office with a legit script compared to the wild west back in the day

I'm less careful than I was when I joined, but I'm pretty anal about knowing the exact amount in my vials because I take baby doses of sema- I do .125 every few days, occasionally .25 if I think I need it. My first vials were 6.3 instead of 5- that would have been a 20% difference and I'd definitely have felt sick! I don't care much about purity- someone posted a while back name brand just has to be over 97%. But I care about total mg and want a test to ballpark my dose.

Knowing my email could be sent out is another barrier, I have a throwaway pep email and username for forums but I'm not exactly tech savvy, I'm sure you could get information on me, especially since I never shut up. I'd rather just throw in cash and let someone else deal with the mailing and info sharing.

Feel like I should for some reason speak on this thread, as I organized a large group test and worked with Peptide Test pretty extensively like 3-4 months ago.

My experience with him was he was willing to work in many ways to get exactly what we wanted and handled a lot of BS for relatively small premiums over the course of a few months. He admitted mistakes and tried to make sure everyone's questions and issues were taken care of.

In regards to the email:

This was a stupid move by someone at the company, crap happens, and in regards to privacy of testing peptides, there isn't anything illegal or suspicious about testing peptides themselves. Obviously there is some customer sensitivity that gets messed up, but no personal information about what was ordered/testing/purchasing details was shared. Seems like one of the smaller F'ups from companies that have occurred in the last year (still an F up though). I feel like LARGE public companies are doing more egregious actions in the last 6 months than ANY of the peptide gray market companies have done in the last year, but they have lobbying firms and what not, so you just have to "deal with it"

In regards to the other stuff being said here:

I am one of the biggest "companies should pay their fair share and not gouge customers", but for profit companies exist to MAKE PROFIT.

If we are going to say Peptide Test has exploitative pricing because of a deal he made with TP which he was quite open about, then Janoshik is also price gouging? Their prices are the same after all pretty much. I also felt a bit better when himself and Janoshik talked about testing stuff on the discord we joined for testing, made me realize these guys are more friendly competition rather than dueling assholes like some competing industries become.

And with filters, some are acting like he's selling damn insulin at 1000X the pricing and their are NO alternatives. If you saw a market that you could earn like $0.50 (this is a complete guess) per filter on through holding inventory and reselling through an exclusivity contract you sure as hell would do it, that's just good predictive market research in my opinion. Also @noteablequotable if the ones you got off AliExpress were good, we should get them tested and get them to start marketing to this community with testing! More competition = lower prices for all and healthier markets. Maybe tell some of our vendors to reach out and offer some supplies like they do with BAC water...

Want more domestic testing options? Start reaching out to other testing shops and getting them to push that extra mile to bring value to this community. That's basically the best way to build acceptance.

This is gonna sound like a shill post, so I'm prepared for that response, but I could bring many popular billionaires who are openly doing some way worse crap than any of these companies, yet our community just pins these groups to the wall. If a company makes a mistake and it does not impact people financially or health-wise, an apology is sufficient with remedial analysis. If a company financially hurts a customer, publicly shame them and get the appropriate financial remedial outcome, but don't act like these companies have to "be better" than the garbage chute of normal companies out there.

The mistake was the result of a larger problem and never should have happened, so how they deal with it is a distraction. They should not be marketing-led, and the fact that they are spamming to begin with is the real issue.

Discussions in lab q&a channels? Bad news… that’s not the lab guy in there, that’s the marketing guy. Convincing you you need filters and then selling you them? You get the picture. To act like it’s just a single email and then all lab testing all the time makes me think you’re not familiar with how they’re structured and managed

Firing people for making mistakes is how you have a constant churn of new people making the same mistakes the old ones did.

Humans are wired to make mistakes. If you give an employee the task of copy and pasting names into the BCC field when the CC field is right next to it, there's always a chance that someone will accidentally put it in the wrong field. It's a repetitive task where a mistake is easy to be made.

The correct thing to do is figure out a mechanism to fix this process, such as moving to mailing list software that manages the list for you. Now you can't accidentally CC people on the list instead of BCC, you send a single email instead of multiple (unless you are testing multiple variations to test conversion rate), people can properly unsubscribe, etc.

Any time someone makes a mistake, your questions should be on the how and why of it, and very rarely on the person themselves. Sometimes, yeah, it is gross negligence, but most of the time, removing the person doesn't remove the problem, only forces you to spend time/money finding a replacement.

For full disclosure, I'm recently (last month or so) a mod in their discord, which basically means I'm a janitor and I'm there to turn on slowmode when people get on a rant. I was active in the and he was like hey, can you help, so I said sure.

I am wholly, 100% unaffiliated with the business itself and you're right, I really don't know how they're structured. I just delete comments and enforce discord rules. It's probably very similar to how I'm sure you get nothing out of being a mod here.

From what I can tell from my personal experience, he spends a lot more time answering questions and helping people organize group tests than he does making marketing announcements. That's just what I've seen in that space. I'm certainly not saying they make 0 marketing announcements, because, as a business, that'd be silly. Of course they need to market themselves, that's part of how you make a business successful.

I've also purchased supplies from his shop, but he doesn't know that because I keep my real name and email completely separate from this MiniatureSnail account. I've never received an unsolicited email, even though they have all my info.

I chimed in here because I think these accusations are unfair. They fucked up on an email, owned it right away, apologized, and changed their system so it won't happen again. Really what more can you ask, other than to go back in time and have it not happen at all?

Those aren't even the only 4mm filters available - for someone trying to maliciously corner the market, he picked a remarkably tiny corner.

I don't happen to think he's out to hurt anyone either. In fact, I've encountered very few people in this space who I would say are intentionally malicious. Most of the controversy in this community is due to lack of professionalism, inadequate risk controls, low emotional intelligence, or carelessness. That doesn't mean those mistakes (if you want to call them that) aren't important. They often are, and we then have to come to a decision about whether or not we think someone is likely to repeat their mistakes and if that risk is something you can live with.

I had to make a similar decision about Nexaph right when I joined the forum, and after thoroughly interrogating Cain I decided that he seemed to have a clear understanding of his errors and was capable of avoiding similar issues in the future, in spite of warnings from folks like @exploitedworkerbee. I was wrong about that, and while it didn't blow up in my face, things didn't turn out well for others. When I questioned Cain about this most recent incident it was clear that he didn't have a sense of what he'd done wrong. I am no longer a customer, and it's not because I received bad product or I think he's an evil person, it's because I no longer trust his judgement.

It would be nice to no which specific changes he intends to make but that's not my Hill to die on. When stuff like this happens you will always lose some of your customers and there's really nothing to be done about it.

Without rambling on more, PT gets hate because his communication around the issue was bad: the way he initially framed the decision to ask for an exclusivity agreement, his lack of disclosure about the agreement when promoting the product, and the way he spoke to upset community members. It was one of the rare instances I've seen where someone created 100% of their own problems.
