No band aid, only for blood draw procedures.. I just wipe with an alcohol pad before and after.

Absolutely you should use band-aids. Don't tear them off either just leave them on until they come off in the shower. Stock up and be safe.Nerker said:Hi, at the risk of seeming like a bacteria-ridden infection waiting to happen, and since I recently became a full time pin cushion, I gotta know: are we doing a band-aids at every injection site these days? I'm like 3x sites daily at times and these band-aids hurt like a mofo when I tear them off. What's the best practice for the living voodoo doll? TY, Nerky

I have to be bleeding more more than a couple seconds in order to feel like I might need a bandaid. I have yet to stick myself bad enough to get to that level. If you used an alcohol wipe on the area before you stick you should be fine.Nerker said:Hi, at the risk of seeming like a bacteria-ridden infection waiting to happen, and since I recently became a full time pin cushion, I gotta know: are we doing a band-aids at every injection site these days?
