Hi, at the risk of seeming like a bacteria-ridden infection waiting to happen, and since I recently became a full time pin cushion, I gotta know: are we doing a band-aids at every injection site these days? I'm like 3x sites daily at times and these band-aids hurt like a mofo when I tear them off. What's the best practice for the living voodoo doll? TY, Nerky

Are you talking literal band aids? I take 3-5 pins daily and never once used a band aid. I clean the area with alcohol, pin, another swipe with alcohol and done.

Nope, you are fine just pin and go.

Not intravenous, so fluids trying to pop out that hole.

You can do a second alcohol wipe if it makes you feel a bit better about it. No harm no foul

I never use Band-Aids. If I accidentally hit a small vein, and there's bleeding at the site, I just hold pressure on it for a minute.

If you want them, wear them like a badge of honor! LOL!!

They're only medically effective if they're Hello Kitty or Casper the Friendly Ghost bandaids. Science.

I do not use any band-aids.

One of my exes once commented "if all you need is a band aid, then you don't need a band aid" and that made so much sense to me.

Wait ...I gotta toss my Minions bandaids?!? ☹️😂

No bandaids for injection sites. And if there was ever anything requiring a bandaid for something non-injection related, it’d probably get a wrap of electrical tape instead. 😉

While I couldn't agree more....try telling that to my 4 year old. 🙄🙄

I have multiple costco bulk packs of bandaids in my house. 5 kids + farm life = lots of booboos.

I don't think you need a bandaid. Also, you shouldn't really be drawing blood. If there is some, take a cotton swab and press it / rub it around. It should close up instantly.
