Does anyone have any experience flying with Tirz or Reta to/from UK or US airports? Any issues with security?

I just flew from LAX to Calgary, Canada, and then from Lethbridge, back to Calgary, and back into Los Angeles. I had my peptides in injection pens, 5 total, all stored inside a chilled/cooled insulin travel container (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07SYZ22GS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_13&th=1). No one at LAX even pulled the container out of my backpack to inspect it. On my flight leaving from Lethbridge, they did pull it out and ask what it was, but as soon as I told them it was medicine that needed to be stored in a cooler and pointed out the medical tag, they plopped it back inside my bag without asking anything further.

Generally reconstituted is A-OK and there are a ton of anecdotes online that mirror the above (I've likewise had zero issues). Lyophilized seems much riskier, I wouldn't personally do that.
I fly all the time in the US with one vial of recontstituted GLP1 plus an Rx prefilled syringe. I do have an Rx for both but TSA doesn't care about any of that. The only thing they check every time is the ice pack I use in a small fabric lunch box. Gel ice packs are now allowed even if thawed. They don't care about small amounts of personal medications. I even have one of those pill containers that hold a weeks full of pills with random supplements and a few Rx pills that they don't care about either.
TIP: Set the ice pack on top of everything so they don't have to open your med case.
I do sometimes fly internationally to AUS and Asia, but never with peps. I've gone through a couple of simple searches, they didn't care about my Rx pre-filled syringes or pills when they see them but I didn't carry any vials so I am no help there. I don't think I'd try to take anything but a GLP1 and only with an Rx. I've seen those Border Patrol episodes where they think it's something bad. There's also people that say don't label it and call it insulin because their tests come back negative for anything not allowed.

Keep it all together in a medical travel bag in your carryon. I have flown domestic and international without any questions. I also rec. Reconstituted vials. Mine are always labeled.
Only slightly off topic...
When arriving in Osaka, Japan, the non-english speaking customs agent had a poster of illegal items and pointed to them one by one as I said no to each one. After he finished with the 40+ items, he went back to the green leaf that is now legal in parts of the US. He pointed to it multiple times, he did it so long that the wife and I got tired of saying no and just started laughing. They took us into seperate rooms and did a search of bags and shoes, then a pat down. We didn't have anything that they were looking for.
When he was pointing to it, it was feeling like Ferris Bueller's teacher saying "Anyone, Anyone?" on repeat, I swear he pointed to it for 5 minutes.

Did they actually see/inspect them or did you just walk on through without them noticing?

***Remember, things that might be legal in one country aren't legal everywhere and a few have the dealth penalty for whatever they deem illegal substances. Without an Rx, they can do what they want.

I've flown domestic and to Costa Rica from FL multiple times with compounded Tirzepatide from ProRx. I've never even been stopped or questioned. My bag doesn't even get diverted onto the manual inspection belt.
I keep everything in a Ziploc bag. Syringes, alcohol wipes, and the vial wrapped inside some small ice packs and foam. I also include a paper copy of the prescription. I keep it in my carry-on, but when I put it in the tray for TSA inspection, I remove it and place it next to the carry-on.
But as stated, this was an official prescription with official documentation. If I were to travel with my own reconstituted stuff, I think I'd take the time to make an official looking label for the vial.
The odds are that no one will look twice at you. They see thousands of diabetics every day.

I recently traveled from US to Hungary, then from Munich back to US with about 10 pre-filled syringes. No problems or questions.
On the same trip, my mom flew from US to Hungary, then from Munich to Costa Rica with a reconstituted vial and 2 that weren't reconstituted yet. No problems or questions for her, either.

Must have been that we didn't have any luggage, only backpacks because we were only there for two full days and one night. Walked past the baggage carousel and they were insisting that we forgot something. We tried to exit as fast as possible so we had time to do tourist stuff before our flight the next day. That makes sense. But I wonder if they have a way to figure out that it's tirz, especially if it's in a pen. Or if they have a way to test for insulin, if that's what you claim it is.nitetrak said:

For the people that said they wouldn’t bring the powder vials, why? I bring gummies all the time and I don’t think they could give a shit. I don’t know, do they think the vial is some sort of hard drug or dangerous compound? I have a trip on the horizon….Ryty2266 said:

The fact that a vial doesn't have an official label would set off red flags, but I think just having an Rx would be enough if questioned. If it were insulin, why would it not have the factory label? Have to come up with a good excuse. --"I prefer to use my pen" might be good enough.
You're talking about TSA right? I bring gummies too, they don't care unless you bring a bunch of kits and they have the option to advise local law enforcement (if they feel like it). I know people at Seatac.Gt3294a said:

Thanks all! Reading all these responses makes me generally less concerned about taking in my reconstituted peptides as it doesn’t seem to be a big deal.
