Does anyone take Tirz twice a week? I mean, splitting the weekly dose between two days—one at the beginning and one at the end of the week?

I do Tirz on a Tuesday, then a small dose (0.5mg) of Cagrilintide to see me through as i got the food noise back towards the end of the week.PippiLangstrumpf said:Does anyone take Tirz twice a week?

Plenty of folks in the forum pin 2X per week, more likely on day 3 and day 7 or something like that. They call this split dosing and you end up with more level drug concentrations. Some say it helps keep food noise away more consistently and helps to minimize sides.
I’ve never split my dose, because early on I think I read something that it was less effective, but I don’t know if that is necessarily true. But it kind of stuck with me like an urban legend. I pin weekly just for convenience.

Been doing this since I started, no side effects and no dips during week. I do half my Reta dose, two days later half my tirz dose, two days later half my Reta dose, two days later half my tirz dose. I have struggled with BED for years I am actually really happy not being consumed by the idea of food. But that’s why everyone is different.woundcarping said:That sounds awful.
I follow the same schedule and it has worked well for me.BBA1969 said:My split dosing schedule for Tirz was Monday evening - Friday Morning.
An even 3,5 days between shots and the ideal timing for me to minimise the urge to snack and have a drink or twoin the weekend.
Timing preferences are individual of course but the 84h interval on Tirz has been a succes for me.

You may find a difference between BP and grey product.skaylife said:I have been pinning mounjaro 28 weeks long. Started at 2.5 mg/week and after 4 weeks titrated to 5mg and stayed at 5mg. Always pinned at 7th day. My start weight was 101kg and my current weight is 78 kg. Felt always hunger noise on 6th day. But has never been a big deal. Despite hunger noise, I could not eat much more than the rest of the week. In place of splitting my dosage, splitted my portions on 6th day. Two weeks ago I've ordered my first grey market Tirz and received 2 days ago. Did not pin it yet and don't know if there is any difference with mounjaro? But up to me, splitting dosage is totally unnecessary.
