I finally got my hands on some GHK-basic and can report that this completely alleviates all discomfort from GHK-Cu now. I’d previously tried the extra BAC approach. I had pretty good success with adding epi/lido as described in this post. That made it tolerable, but there was still a dull pain that came on after a few hours and lasted most of the day.
I’d seen people on Peppy’s say they had good luck with adding basic. Karma-electron uses a 5:1 Cu to basic ratio. Some use 1:1, but I wanted to start with a lower amount and see how effective that was. For my first batch with basic, I used a 3:1 ratio just because it made my blend math easy. I used no epi/lido at all and didn’t use the lidocaine alcohol wipes either and have had no burning/stinging or delayed aches or pains at all.
From all the posts about GHK-Cu, it’s clear that everyone responds differently, but if you’ve tried the other approaches and still have discomfort, it’s worth trying it with some basic as well. If you want to read up on the thoughts as to why this helps, just search Peppy’s. There are some good discussions there.
