Hey all,

First post outside the newbie threads, so let me know if I do any "no no's"!

I am preparing to start GHK-Cu. Using to support hair/skin health as I continue my Tirz journey.

I've heard that it is fairly common to have ISR (swelling, redness, burning) with GHK-Cu. I read that dilution with more BAC water can help, but and was curious if anyone has other tips/tricks that worked for them to minimize ISR?

Thanks!

This subject has been talked about.

It ONLY burns if the the EYE OF SAURON see you using it!!!!!

This is what helped me A LOT with the burn.....

Try it with normal concentration at first. You might not even get the ISR's. Not everybody does.

If you do, then add enough bac water to cut the concentration it in half. See if you still get them.

If you do, add enough bac water to decrease your concentration by an initial 50% (add enough to equal 3x your initial amount of bac). See if you still get them.

If you do, then add enough bac water to have cut your concentration down to 25% of what it originally was. See if you still get them.

If you do, say f it, this one isn't for me.

This was my process for determining how and whether to continue KLOW. 12 ml bac water per overfilled vial from GYC, means just under 2mg of the GHK-cu component is around 31ish units, and I am not walking around with painful bruises anymore.

I appreciate the very mathematical "f it" determination scale.

Hi BK. I dilute with extra bac water AND I pop a re-usable ice pack on the injection site for five minutes. Learned from Dr. Trevor. I am one of the folks that reacts badly and have found the ice pack trick really works. Frozen veggie bags will work, too 🙂

I work as a "forms architect" (which kind of doxxes me if any of my work people wander into this forum, but they'll recognize me anyway by my cat and my drum so yolo) and I spend all day laying out eight different "conversations" onto a form and then playing "if X then y, and along that path if Y then Z unless X = answer 2". It bleeds into my "real" life like crazy.

Just don't email me, cause y'all know I don't check em. Hit me on Teams or GTFO, I don't need to read your longass paragraphs of prose while you dance around making me read extra words. "Hope this email finds you well," bro, hope it finds me NEVER.

I just got some "no sting" BAC water but I have not tried it yet.

NO STING-Rx: (Glycerol-enhanced Bacteriostatic Solution): 30mL

NO STING: (Glycerol-enhanced Bacteriostatic Solution): 10mL is a sterile, multiple-dose vial, differs from bacteriostatic water in that it contains added NaCl and Glycerine. Each bottle contains .9% Benzyl Alcohol, .9%NaCl, 3% Glycerine.

Just an update in case anyone else comes across this post and is curious:

I did the first injection and noted some stinging/redness at the site. Hard, slightly itchy welt the following day.

For subsequent injections I have diluted with additional BAC water (per recommendations above) and massaged the area after. Pain and redness significantly decreased (~90% improved). Still getting a welt under skin, but significantly smaller.

Going to try further dilution and icing. Will report back!

I like to inject KLOW into my upper thigh. Still get some ISR (but it's really not that bad), but at least my underwear covers the bruises/redness.

I initially had itching and welts. That appears to have decreased significantly with use and with additional bac water. I now experience a minor itch/sting off and on that is mostly resolved within a few hours to the next day.

I recently had a thread on this.

First shot of GHK-cu & KPV

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks in. How many mg is your GHK-cu?

My GHK-cu is 50mg. I bought 10ml sterile vials. I add 3 ml of bacteriostatic water to reconstitute. I then filter it into the larger vial and add 2 more ml of BW. I am also doing a KPV shot first which is supposed to help with the sting. I tried to backfill my insulin syringe with both but it was a disaster so now I just do them separate.

I had some weird feels when I did my first shot. Got a little dizzy but could have been because I had myself so anxious.

Here is what I do now:

Let the vials come to room temperature.

I use Numbing wipes first.

I also do my shots in the love handles rotating daily.

KPV first… immediately followed by the GHK-cu.

There were lots of great ideas and suggestions in the forum thread I linked. Also plenty of info you search around here.

I just want to throw out there about the room temperature comment, I recently came upon a thread on reddit and someone explained they just run the syringe under hot water before injecting to bring it to room temp instantly.. and honestly.. that simple idea blew me away ha.

Also OP - you do ice and massage - I use a pressure massage gun with a heat attachment I just pummel the spot (glute) for a minute after dosing and it works for me!

I just started last Thursday.

What did it for me to lose the burn?

Reconned my ridiculously overfilled 50mg vial with 3ml bac water. Pin the side of my butt. My abdomen was horribly painful. My upper thigh didn't hurt but left a big welt. My side butt? Don't feel it. No lump, bruise or welt.

It was recommended to me to recon into a 10ml sterile vial. I don't have one so I maxed out what the 3ml vial will hold.

Good luck!

In a recent post, I mentioned a no-pinch mixing trick I use: I loaded all the go odi es into one needle first. Then I grabbed a fresh needle, pulled out the plunger completely, transferred the mix into the new needle, and presto.. no pinch so far... wish me luck!!!!!!!!!
