Like most, I started with Reta and quickly added two more peps to my stack. As a morning pinner, I accidentally injected reta into my booty as my brain was thinking I was pinning NAD+ (reta was what I wanted to pin, just adhd things decided it was nad+), rather than my stomach. It didn't change the efficacy at all but it freaked me out that I could dose myself incorrectly in the future.

Enter pens. After tons of research and watching videos suggested in this forum I bought 2 v2's for my GHK-cu and my NAD+ and I'm never looking back. Shout out the OG's for creating such a helpful educational space for newbies like me to self-educate and feel comfortable buying and using new contraptions to make the process a little easier as far as reconstituting, filtering, and filling my vials. Using a pen seems really intimidating but once broken down step by step it was really easy and I encourage other newbies to make the leap if they're curious.

I still use my syringes for ret, so now I know if I'm holding a needle it only goes in my stomach. The pens are for the booty.

Just a tip: fill up a 3ML pen vial with tap water (no need to waste your peps), purge the air gap, and load it into your V2. Crank the knob of your pen to 15, then instead of putting a pen needle on the end, go ahead and take a standard insulin syringe, inject the 3ml pen vial with it, and now press your pen vial button to "inject" the insulin pen. If the insulin pen fills up with 15 units, you have a good pen. If it fills up to 10, 12, 25, etc., then you know what type of adjustment you need to make.

After a while, you may also want to wander on over to the Gansulin or other type of auto injector pens: they are fantastic 🙂

Didn't even think to check that. Thank you, that's a great tip

Yeah, and the accuracy check is the only thing I can think of to use an old used up cartridge for. Just inject the tap water into the cart to fill it up with the same (used?) syringe you're going to test accuracy with in the end. You'll have to pull it out of the nose seal to load the cart in the pen anyway, but that won't get a bubble in it and you don't need more than one. Don't need any sterility here, unless you just pin for fun. Really make sure you get all the bubbles out they will always screw up accuracy!

This is also good to know. With one I got the bubbles out pretty well but the other I noticed some this morning. When I flick the pen they don't seem to move (in the NAD+), is there another hack? Maybe store the pen right side up to get them to rise?

Great idea, I'll use this to cross check accuracy's each time I reload. Using the old cart to confirm accuracy each time. Genius.

I suspect you have joined a cult 😆 Penpeople are everywhere, trying to lure me in with cool colors and nifty cartridges.

They are like the Borg.

Buying pens is as addictive as trying new Peptides’s! I have 5 convi auto injectors and the only thing I can’t figure out is : add 3ml of bac to a tr30 , then add to a 3ml cart and it does not fill it up all the way ?

I think it's because the carts have a little extra room at the top and bottom (above and below the volume marks) and we forget the peps fill that space, so maybe the carts actually hold closer to 4ml even though the indicators are only for 3 ml?

How do you choose your pens? I new with pens. Do you order cartridges with it?

You could do a little bit of research and watch some videos. Peptide Critic reviews and demonstrates a bunch of pens. But there is tons of content on the Internet that should be helpful.

Peptide Critic

Peptide Critic is a research-driven YouTube channel dedicated to scrutinizing the claims, science, and controversies surrounding therapeutic and wellness peptides. The channel aims to be a skeptical voice in the ocean of “peptide marketing,” offering: Scientific deep dives into how peptides...

Cartridges are separate from the pens and you want to try to source sterile carts from a reputable source.

I fell into this hole 2 weeks ago. I ordered 2 Convipens (damn GB price sucked me in), and 2 camping friendly V1 knock offs (plastic with a case) to try out. Then (of course!) had to order all the things to go with them.

In all fairness though, we camp frequently and the thought of taking syringes with us on our trips was frightening. We have people in and out of our trailer constantly.

Well, the carts will take just a bit more than 3ml, but don't tempt fate with that one! Your tears mixing with the spilt peptide could cause instant combustion and burn the house down.

Of course you leave a bit in the vial and the syringe and the filter... I try to prefill and flush each one so that I get all the juicy peptides out and exactly the right concentration, but that's just ADHD.

Oh at this point my cabinet looks like a meth den. Varying needles, syringes, vials, filters stacked by the hundreds. The pens will make traveling much easier.

Exactly! We have vintage trailers we show. People do the strangest things...like opening all the cupboards.
