My brain doesn't comprehend crypto and "wallets". I've tried to educate myself but it's just not sticking in the ole' noodle.
Think of the wallet as a different file. Like if ur betting 100 bucks against the Dallas Cowboys on fanduel, you can't pay from the main page. You click on ur bet and get another screen where it comes out of you're account. On Exodus it's simplified and ur operating out of ur wallet page.

I'm having my very tech savvy son handle it for me. That's much easier 😅

Now my cash app is not allowing me to txfer to my own Exodus wallet :/

Has your cash app purchase been processed yet? It can take up to 10 business days. If it's Bitcoin there are minimum transfer amounts. Bitcoin PayPal minimum transfer amount today is around $119... Personally I never recommend Bitcoin.

Yeah, It's there. They just think my Exodus wallet is sketchy I guess. I was chatting with the bot going nowhere. I told the bot to kiss my a**. Then later an associate told me they have a no tolerance policy for abusing associates. It was a computer:/

Sticking with my opinion Crypto sucks. Someone needs to create the crypto Staples easy button. Enter the price, pay by credit card, paypal or bank hit send. Just too much crap involved....
I just bought $1k in crypto from and, Coinbase put a hold on it until July 22nd. I really wanted to take advantage of a few promotions but that's not going to happen now - not that I would know how to send it anyways.

I have had excellent luck using this: Bank > Cashapp > Cashapp dollars to crypto > Cashapp crypto to Exodus wallet. The entire process takes less than 2 days using the cheapest transfer method. If you are willing to eat some minor fees, the time can be reduced to less than a day. For faster transfer with enormous fees, you can go to a super sketchy gas station Bitcoin ATM with cash to Exodus. That takes a couple of hours.

I've heard of this happening when you try to pay from somewhere like cashapp. What you need to do is buy with cashapp Then transfer your bit to your exodus wallet. Pay from exudes. It works well for me.

By the way it's normal for them to go radio silent for 3-4 days then you get a tracking number to FedEx or somewhere that is not good till 15 plus days later. You did not get scammed. They are just not great at communication.
Thanks for this.. I bought once back in May and forgot how to do it... dang im old...

How do you figure out how much extra money you have to put in to cover fees?? Say.. if my order is 1095.00...??

I’ve added a little for fees, say $1,100 in that case or just send $1,095 and fees take it down to $1,089 and they make it work. Shrinkage is expected I think? Pricing fluctuates anyway.

Omg.. I have totally forgotten what to do.. I just put 1150 in cash app.. and i froze on what I do next.. crap.. do I buy bitcoin in cashapp or do I transfer it to exodus then buy bitcoin..

Just buy Bitcoin in Cashapp. The transaction happens instantly. Then send to your Exodus wallet. There are choices to send quickly with fees or send with no fees but takes about a day.

I just successfully ordered from them using bitcoin. If you send it from a non-custodial wallet it will go through. A non-custodial wallet is a wallet where you have the bitcoin localy. When you send bitcoin through a custodial wallet the exchange controls the transaction. Cash app, coinbase, robinhood are examples of custodial wallets (they have custody). Those companies are good places to buy bitcoin but you should send it to your own personal non-custodial wallet before spending it. There are many good non-custodial wallets. I like Muun wallet. It is simple and easy to use. It will only hold bitcoin so you will need a different wallet if you want to pay with another crypto.
would ledger be an example of a non custodial wallet
