Does it make sense to combine a small amount of semaglutide with retatrutide to increase appetite suppression? Has anyone done it and can suggest dosing, considering I’m already at about 8 mg of reta per week?

There is likely someone on here doing it, but I know that the Reta + Tirz combo is used more frequently by subjects ‘round these parts for that same purpose.dandam said:Does it make sense to combine a small amount of semaglutide with retatrutide to increase appetite suppression? how’d this work for you? I was in the same boat and have been combining Sema and Reta in a stack for a few months now. Am considering switching Sema to Tirz. I’m not getting major side effects, but the Sema is blocking me up a bit…TinyPCOSgirl said:My doctor currently prescribes me 2.4mg of semaglutide via Wegovy.
I have stagnated with the medicine. I have not lost any weight since last year, July 2025. Perhaps the most I’ve lost is 5lbs.
I’m thinking to stack 0.25mg or 0.5mg of retatrutide starting Monday, April 13 2026.
On Monday I will take my wegovy shot per usual.
And on Thursday, I will start retatrutide.
I hope I survive this experiment!

I started at 290. Currently at 255. I was losing 5.5 pounds a week but have increased my calories and am now at the 3.5.gusterbuster said:Unless you are very overweight, with that weekly weightloss, food noise is expected. That is very fast and probably should increase food to get no more than 2lbs a week.
Disregard if you are very overweight.

Yeah it is. Still trying to slow it down. I’m hitting 180+ grams of protein a day and trying to increase calories as I go.woundcarping said:I think it’s been discussed on another thread but that’s flirting in the danger zone with your gallbladder and other potential downsides.
This is sooooo insightful! I have been feeling quite dizzy and light headed. OMG!gusterbuster said:Sema plus reta is a solid combo. Reta is relatively weak GLP1 agonist. Sema is only a GLP agonist. Basically supplementing what Reta is weak at. I'm hesitant about tirz as both reta and tirz are strong GIP agonists.
I'm doing 2.4mg of Sema and 4mg of Reta. Reta starts messing with my sleep quality much higher.
