.5mg is making you have sleep problems? I just don't understand. I didn't have issues till I hit 6mg, and now 8mg is worse.

What made you start on .5mg? Did you read any of the E Lilly trial studies?
A lot of us have been starting very low.

Not obese just trying to lose stubborn pounds at an older age.

even after 3 month on reta

i still wake up at 2 / 4 am and 6 am

but my iwatch give me a 95 sleep score ...

BUT IM GETTING JACKED AND SLIM

worth every second of it
In the end this is how i cope as well 🤣 i definitely have the cravings starting to hit but i'm still getting full right away so at least that;s still effective. Done week 4 trying to stay at 2mg as long as possible!!!!

Try slow carbs before bed

the carbs matter for sure, i tried it on off a few days to see and both nights that i ate carbs before bed i slept at least 6 hours and the night i forgot , 2 nights ago, i slept 3.5 hours!
Appreciate the helpful input! I have always preferred to sleep on an empty stomach, and it seems that is likely my downfall in this scenario. Will report back. Thanks again!

I have zero side effects anymore, but sleep still sucks butt. Started at 6mg and still have it at 9mg. Magnesium didn't do anything. I did find something from a recommendation from a friend. Didn't do much the first night. Added a magnesium pill to that and bam, it helps. I started Sunday night. Last night bed at 8:30, I know, early. It's from years divring a semi, and my last job, 25 years when I got up at 5. Anyways, woke up twice (10pm &1am0 to wizz, took a little tossing/turning, but woke up at 5. I guess it gets better after being on it, seems like it. Not a pill, it's a patch. Well see how it goes.

When i first started the sleep was okay but going into week 3 there's been a noticeable decline in sleep quantity. I've tried everything(other than more peps)

-earlier sleep

-stop eating at 6

-phone outside room

The onset of my sleep is extremely quick with magnesium but staying asleep has become an issue. Looking to see if anyone had this and was able to figure it out without additional meds or if it goes away at a certain point?

Heading into 4th week 1mg twice a week since the beginning.
I loved Retatrutide however between a significant increase in RHR and sleep issues I simply switched to Tirz - problem solved.

I haven't actually, i keep debating it. I have all this Reta so a little annoying to switch it up but i don't know how much longer i can handle this lack of sleep.
Are you able to catch up on sleep on your days off/ weekends off? How about naps?

I take Magnesium Malate 225mg early am for energy and clarity throughout the day. I then take 30g Casein protein with 133mg of Magnesium Glycinate at night, just before bed for relaxation and protein slow release overnight to heal. Stay under 425mg daily of Magnesium.

You should sleep better. It has been the only combination that has worked for me.

I liked Smartfood popcorn, protein bar, or fairlife protein drink
I like the protein bar deal.

My only issues with sleep/Reta was bathroom trips 3-4 times a night. Cutting all liquid intake at 7pm helped cut that down to 1-2. Other than that i sleep as well as I ever did.
Truth. I try to stop water or water at 6.

Im fine now actually it was my first 3 weeks and a bit but after that ive fully adjusted. Sleep quality is not perfect but way more manageable now.

Some people just don't do well on Reta. I'm one of them. Did you try Tirz? I feel Tirz has given me the same exact results as Reta but without the sides...
Also one of them with sleep issues. Don't know if I can go 6 weeks without good sleep like someone else suggested.

Same, and I quit it, but have you tried ipamorelin, or DSIP, or melatonin gummies?

Had this issue on Sema for about 3-4 months and after stopping it the sleep issues went away and started sleeping great again. I just started Reta and had hope the sleep issues would stay away but man it came back fast. This last week I am sleeping but just not deep sleep always feel like I am just kind of under if that makes any sense. I go to bed around Midnight but always wake up around 4 AM. Sometimes I can fall back asleep sometimes no. Will give it some time to see if it will get better. Don't really want to start doing a bunch of other peptides just to get sleep. Magnesium at night not really working but I did try a THC gummie last night and I slept better. Will try one again tonight.

Nothing honestly just struggled through it. I bought some tirz to make the switch but then the side effects went away. Im only 12 pounds away from my goal then I'll make the switch anyways to give myself a break from reta .

I started CJC/IPA and I do oxytocin nasal 1 hr before bed. I believe that has helped my sleep tremendously.
Does the Oxytocin help you to STAY asleep? I can fall asleep, I just have trouble sleeping the night through.

Magnesium and benadryl 2-3 hours before bed. Then malitonin and cjc/ipa right before bed.sleep with ear plugs in and white noise machine on. Also frequencies of 528 hz or 432 hz help a lot. Youtube "528 hz black screen no adds" find one you like that is 12 hours long. Play it as you sleep. Help me a lot.

Man I was waking up at 3am every night. Sometimes I still wake up, but I’m able to get right back to sleep. Before I started the CJC/IPA and oxytocin I would be wide awake for a couple of hours when my sleep was disrupted. The sleep I get is much deeper. So I feel much more rested.

My sleep is still.short in duration. However, all markers od sleep are on the good range, except duration. Im not trying to troubleshoot this as long as the scale shoes results. I'm not ryi g to fine to study, I an trying to lose weight. Best of luck on reta, your sleep will shorten if you are like me.

I have a good bit of both.

At this point I think I’m gonna have to accept my body can comfortably handle 2mg Reta + 5mg Tirz. The Reta improved my digestion and metabolism. But as soon as I hit 3mg I get annoying sides, Bad sleep, tingly skin etc - horrible sleep since I’ve increased 2 weeks ago.

Yeah lots of people do a slow titration over to Reta. I’m fine with Tirz+Reta so I’ll just keep it this wa. Once I get to goal weight I will probably switch to just Tirz- it’s so cheap.
