Reli On needles

I was using Walgreens needles before but then I found a 100 pack for $12 of Reli On needles. I know I can buy them online I just haven’t yet.

Anyways I’ve never had a reaction until recently. I did two ghk cu injections and had really bad reactions from them. Now no matter what I inject I get a welt and bruising. I started the new needles and the ghk cu the same day.

I notice also these needles do hurt more. I tend to bleed a little more also. So is it possible the ghk cu has created some kind of long term histamine response or is it more likely the needles? Has anyone else used these needles?

Also where is a good place to buy bulk easy touch needles? I have heard they are a game changer!

ReliOn is Walmart's private label for diabetes supplies. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

Are you rotating injection sites? I have that as a column on the simple tracking spreadsheet I created. My rotation is every combination of left side or right, abdomen or inner thigh, high or low on the area ... excessive but why not? So it goes

Are you rotating injection sites? I have that as a column on the simple tracking spreadsheet I created. My rotation is every combination of left side or right, abdomen or inner thigh, high or low on the area ... excessive but why not? So it goes

The Reli On are the ones I switched to and I’m getting reactions and they hurt more.

I do rotate between different parts of my body and anywhere I inject it welts

It's definitely the GHK-Cu, especially if you are injecting it on its own, rather than blended with the other components of GLOW/KLOW.

It is possible the needle is exacerbating it slightly, but a dull or larger gauge needle wouldn't cause a welt like GHK-Cu does.

You can try blending it with KPV, BPC 157, or TB 500, or diluting it with more bac water. You can also try injecting into the fattiest area you can find. A lot of people do their love handles or glutes.

You're getting welts with other peptides too, or bruises? Which other peptides are you pinning?

Given California's reasonable laws regarding syringes (no prescription, no limit, just the pharmacist's discretion) I'd just right away buy a box of fancier ones and see if the problem goes away. If it doesn't, you'll have a nice syringe hoard to use when you find the culprit.

As a clarification for others to help you, were you altogether new to GHK-Cu on the very day you started with the ReliOn syringes? New bac also, for that and the other peps you're pinning?

First time taking GHK-cu! And first day using ReliOn. Stopped the GHK after 2 doses and continued welting. And my bac is the same I’ve been using. Hospira. I’m very clean with storage and reconstituting.

if I was in your shoes, I'd definitely try different needles. Some of the peps you mentioned are known for any site reactions. I'm just theorizing but could be a reaction to those needles for a number of reasons (materials, finishing processes, etc).

That’s kind of what I’m thinking. Especially since they seem to hurt worse and bleed. I never had issues with the Walgreens one but they limit me to a 10 pack a day. I think I’m going to switch back and use the ReliOn only when I have nothing else and see if it stops. I currently have like 10 bruises and welts on my stomach and legs. My two shots earlier hurt SO bad on my leg.

Just out of curiosity, are the needles the same length as your old ones? If you injected more shallow and are hitting the dermis vs sub-q that could cause a reaction as well.

I use 6mm and do it at a slight angle, same as before. I also tried using Flonase I read that helps the reaction site. And I took Benadryl last night which didn’t seem to help at all tbh.

Thank you! I do 6mm at an angle and I never draw twice! I didn’t change anything about my injections except the needles tbh

For GHK, I switched to a 32G 4mm needle on a pen.

For 0.15 ml (15u) I pin 3 times 5u each, about 1 cm apart. I no longer have any bruising or hard lumps.

Hello, I pin ghk-cu daily (1mg) with 31g, 8mm needles. I pin at my fat part of my glutes and no issue for me.

I don't force it much, I put the needle on the surface and wait for my skin to absorbe the needle in and i press in deep, pointing in 45 degree. No pain at all. I got bruises when i pinned on muscle part of my glute so I am very selective where i pin them now.

Also, after drawing up the liquid from the vial with an insulin syringe, i put the cap back and wait maybe 10 min to go to room tempurature for the liquid before pinning, it helps!!

I have almost exactly the same in my spread sheet...I think I use 'H' and 'L' for hi and lo...but otherwise, same-same...
