PT-141 experience

Mid 40's male, no problems or issues with sexual function, but I was interested in what PT-141 might "feel" like so dosed 1.75MG and injected IC last night, about 3 hours before bedtime, about 1 hour after dinner. I felt absolutely nothing. I listened to some music for 3 hours, then fell asleep

I'm wondering if anyone (male or female) here has benefited from this or felt any effects?

Worked for me, too well really. Like the Cialis weekend pill, if the weekend marketing for Cialis was actually/more true. Now I take less, like 1 mg instead.

Ha, yes, it is for sexual desire, or at least, that is the claim. I took it 3 hours before sleep just because I didn't want to be walking around with an erection all day However, I felt nothing. No desire was enhanced, and no boner was generated lol.

We're going to be be empty-nesters come fall. Been thinking about taking a day to experiment with PT-141. Neither of us have any issues. Just figured, why not, since we'll have so much more alone-time.

We both dosed. He was raring to go, but I was stuck barfing my guts out in the toilet. Not exactly feeling sexy

Oh no that does NOT sound fun (or sexy lol)! I guess I'm lucky that it seemed to have no effect on me as opposed to making me ill!

Same experience (45M). I got the telltale flushing after about an hour, but my planned all-afternoon goonfest was a bust.

For me, feelz were like taking Viagra or Cialis, so no increase in sensitivity. But more spontaneous erections, lasting much longer, like more on than off for a number of hours with the full dose. I "managed" the ongoing symptom out of some concern for permanent damage, and managing was not easy with less sensitivity later on.

I never worried about priapism with Viagra or Cialis, but I certainly did with PT-141. There was a very slow, deceiving start, more so than with Viagra/Cialis. So if you start with 1 mg, don't take another 1 mg a couple hours later. Just let it play out until the next day and dose 1 mg (or less) again maybe if not enough effect previously.

I thought HGH was fragile, but oxytocin is even more so:

Oxytocin is a tiny 9-amino acid peptide that is only truly stable at a slightly acidic pH (around 4.5). If your Bacteriostatic Water is even slightly too alkaline (closer to pH 7.0), oxytocin molecules begin to "tangle" and form those jelly-like blobs (dimerization). HGH rarely "gels" like this; it usually just denatures and loses potency.

My recently reconned oxytocin (with its blobs/floaters) is going in the trash, even though I used Hospira, as always. Since that was my only vial, I probably won't try again. I will just use more natural methods for indirectly increasing oxytocin (like the probiotic ATCC PTA 6475).

RS and partner dosed in the afternoon (1mg each).

Strong flushing effect was fairly immediate for both, but otherwise no ill effects and waited several hours for it to "kick in." It never really felt like it "kicked in" exactly in terms of any sort of aroused feeling or stronger desire. Got sick of waiting and went to the bedroom to fool around. The experience was much more intense than usual. Normally that would have been it for the next day or two. Instead, a couple hours later sex just seemed like it was the right idea and went at it for at least another hour until we were both completely worn out and very sore.

During the night I woke up more often than normal. Noticed that every time I woke up it was ridiculously erect (like Viagra overdose level). When I went to pee I had to sit down rather than being able standing up, as it would have been impossible to aim.

In the morning woke up and thought "boy, more sex would be fun" and just kind of went with it, despite every muscle in both of our bodies downright aching and it probably being a horrible idea. That went on for a bit... Afterwards promised each other that was it for the rest of the day. Didn't have strength for much more than sitting on the couch the rest of the day.

10/10 - would try again.

In hindsight, it didn't really make either of us horny, but once intimate activities (just touching hands or kissing) began it seemed like they were much more reinforcing than normal.

As a reminder, PT-141 is only FDA approved for women and for only some women at that (as Vyleesi for acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women).

For male hyper-responders wondering WTF, the standard 1.75 mg dosing was calibrated for premenopausal women:

My max will probably be 1 mg:

As a male ….pt 141 is amazing…… I was using 2 x’s a week at low dose 0.5 to 1 mg…… but unfortunately I kept getting new sunspots ….. and tanned well……

Under-responders (male or female) will try different timing or titrate up to 2 mg:

Everyone is doing a flat dose of .5 mg on up to 2 mg. Some have unpleasant side effects at low doses, others do not. Some tolerate 2 mg or even a little higher to 2.5-3.0 (was that Vigorous Steve?)

Start low and see how you respond.

The 2 mg Ceiling: While the FDA-approved brand Vyleesi is fixed at 1.75 mg, clinical data shows that efficacy for erectile response and desire often plateaus or increases only marginally above 2 mg, while the risk of side effects (nausea, flushing, and BP spikes) increases significantly.

Timing Variability: Unlike PDE5 inhibitors (like Viagra), PT-141 works through the central nervous system. "Under-responders" often find that their peak arousal doesn't hit at the 45-minute mark; for many, the optimal window is actually 2 to 4 hours post-injection, and for some, the effects are most robust the next morning .

Titration Strategy: For men especially, starting at a lower "test dose" (0.5 mg to 1.0 mg) is common to assess nausea, but titrating up toward that 2 mg mark is the standard protocol for those with severe ED or lower sensitivity to the peptide.
