Ok… this is probably my stupid poll of the week.

When you reconstitute Tirz or Reta, are you:

team less BAC

team more BAC

And most importantly… why?

Please share:

Tirz or Reta

More or less BAC

Your reason (burning, injection volume, easier dosing, smoother reconstitution, microdosing accuracy or anything else).

I feel like everyone has their own logic here and I’m definitely overthinking it 🤣

Not sure what you are asking by more or less bac? Are you asking volumes of bac?

Not a stupid question 🙂

Everyone has different approaches and reasons for them.

Here's mine:

I Buy Tirz vials that I can use in a month.

Thats's four pins

Supposing I am successful at getting a months worth per vial, 2ml of Bac gives me 4 pins at 50 units

That's an easy target on the syringe and hard to miscalculate.

Yes exactly, I mean the volume of BAC.

That’s a really practical approach.

Out of curiosity, what dose are you taking to end up with 50 units per shot?

I guess it depends on your comfort level? Some people don't mind injecting a 100 units compared to others that are happier with 20 units

I just restarted Reta. Increasing dose to 4mg this week (first increase). My draw will be .2ml.

As my dose increases I’ll likely keep my draw to .2-.25ml. No reason other than I like .3ml syringes because they’re easy to read.

Supposed to be good for 28 days after reconstitution. So that’s 5 shots on the 29th day. Add 1.5ml of Bac gives 5 shots of 30 units.

I guess that makes sense

But, have you personally noticed any difference in burning depending on the volume?

I Have never had burning from any glp using bac.

I'm Team Less .

Only because the notion of injecting larger volumes kinda grosses me out, for some unknown reason.

So I do 1 mL BAC water in my 10 mg Reta vial and then inject 10 units (a nice small amount).

Got it, you’re now officially on my “reconstituted vial expiry tracking” list thanks!

My current kit tested at 45mg.

2ml Bac gives me 4 pins of 11.25mg at 50 units
List: reconstituted vial expiry. Thanks!

I know many that have used it way beyond that arbitrary 28 days. Me included! It doesn't go bad it slightly degrades. So adjust 5 to 10% in dosage. 10 being on the extreme side of things.

That makes a lot of sense.

Adding you to the “small volume” list!
