I'm new. I was on PepPedia studying up on things (hope it's a legit source of info). I read that peptides and corticosteroids (including glp's) interact and the efficacy of peptides can be reduced. I use Flonase everyday and I get neck and back injections a couple times a year.

I can find alternatives for Flonase and may be able to put more time between neck and back injections. My orthopedic doc has known I'm on Tirzepatide 12.5/mg but has said nothing, nor did weight loss doc. Had I known at the time I would have said something to them.

Y'all have any experience, knowledge, or feedback?

I'm hoping to start cjc1295/ipamorelin in the future but wondering about the implications. Maybe it's a nothingburger irl...?!

Many thanks!

I've been on 7.5mg tirz for months during which time I've had a cortizone shot in my shoulder last October and just had a nerve block in my neck last week, I don't find any issue at all with it. Hasn't affected my weight - loss or otherwise - I don't sense any interference or interaction whatsoever. ymmv

Hey, many thanks for the reply! It's looking like the interaction warning is more for people who things like methylprednisone daily. Flonase not so much. My allergies are rejoicing! Thx again for the reply.

The injections are too infrequent to be worth worrying about . The nasal spray is topical, and usually the systemic dose that gets absorbed is too low to cause any issues, with more severe asthma/COPD high dose inhaled steroids can definitely be an issue and can be enough to increase weight, but usually doses for hayfever are much lower, but looking into it is actually sensible. But as you said it is usually oral or injectable corticosteroids that cause major problems.

If you've been getting the injections for a while, you know what kind of relief to expect. (I'm an old hat with Cortisone) As the shots are wearing off, maybe start the CJC/IPA & see if there is an improvement in pain before the next set of injections. I have yet to notice a reduction in benefits from peptides, after a Cortisone injection, but most peptides are mild for me in terms of inflammation reduction, but I take all the help I can get.

(PPS) Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium. Is a medication being investigated for the treatment of osteoarthritis (OA) , particularly for reducing pain and inflammation in the knees. While currently used in humans for decades to treat interstitial cystitis , subcutaneous injections of PPS are being fast-tracked by the FDA under the specifically for OA, with Phase 3 trials currently underway to evaluate pain and function improvements. Horses have been on this stuff for ages and my dog is on it, through the vet of course. It helps with slowing down or building up Cartlidge and works systemically, I actually take Tadalafil (Cialis) 5mg 2X a day to improve blood flow and help it get to my back, extremities, etc. The Pentosan can be an expensive slow burn, as I get it from a Compound Pharmacy. I can't take Nsaids, so I'm leaning more towards the Ablations for my neck and back as the Cortisone just breaks down soft tissue.

(TA1) Thymosin Alpha-1 is a peptide your body naturally makes, mainly from the thymus, and it helps regulate your immune system. The idea is that allergies are linked to a Th2-dominant immune response, which drives IgE and histamine release. TA1 may help rebalance immune signaling and improve tolerance, not just stimulate immunity. That part is grounded in real biology. What’s less proven is how much this actually reduces allergies in real people. Most data is mechanistic or from small studies, not large trials. So it’s promising for immune balance, but not a guaranteed fix for allergies or symptoms yet. I actually have a bit of a low white blood cell count, supposedly this can help with that as well. I'm doing a 1mg a day for 3 months to see if that helps it that regards. I'm lucky I don't have Allergy issues.

I appreciate your reply, many thanks! I'm learning more every day on this and other forums about how to be educated and not whimsical regarding the use of gap's, etc.!

All of this is helpful for me. My right hip is plagued with "moderate/severe" OA. I actually have a diagnosis of IC. Good to know about the Tadalafil and the TA1 peptide. I live in an area where the allergens are brutal for some, like me. I've got to info to explore and learn! This is why I'm here.

I'm grateful to you for the reply!
