I would always check multiple sources and be more inclined to see where they average out

Agree 100%. Since most of the peps we use have very limited/if any, data for human use, most protocols are based on research conducted on lab rats and/or anecdotal advise. It's always good to reference multiple "sources" before starting a new protocol. Also, what works for one person doesn't always work for another.
