In four pre-registered studies across Belgium, the US, and the UK, people judged anti-obesity medication users as putting in less effort and, in turn, viewed them as less moral, competent, warm, and deserving than non-users. The findings suggest that effort moralization may help drive stigma...

Not too surprising that society has negative connotations regarding weight-loss medications, but that people using the medications are “viewed as less moral, competent, and deserving.” is kind of sad…
A critical first reaction from a friendly folk in my circle towards my ambition to run Reta. But the more we discussed and shared information, the more they became enthusiastic about learning how this or any GLP-1 could change lives. The more we exchanged ideas, the more this person could see how weight loss GLP-1 drugs "could" potentially help one their family members who needs real intervention.

From Critic to Enthusiast! All with a gentle response educating someone who was uninformed while discussing their concerns and negative connotations along with evidence and testimonies of others who have had success on GLP's. I too was skeptical of this gray market, but with education and interaction with others who have successfully paved the way, I am now an Enthusiast.

For me, I find it ridiculously funny, whenever I hear m0r0ns maligning the use of GLP's to lose weight. When they do make such arguments, I ask them, okay so is it cheating when diabetics inject insulin? They say, of course not, insulin is medicine, they need it for survival, etc. I tell them that all those reasons apply for GLP's too. Some get flustered, others remain adamant in their r3t@rdation. It's so simple. People seldom question "why" they have certain beliefs.
