I just started NAD and I am having some significant injection site pain. I put it in my buttocks and sitting is very uncomfortable. Anyone else notice this?

Is it buffered?308fan said:I just started NAD and I am having some significant injection site pain. I put it in my buttocks and sitting is very uncomfortable. Anyone else notice this?

How many MGs is the vial and how much BAC water did you use? I found that I needed to dilute the NAD more so it wasn’t so viscous during injection.308fan said:I just started NAD and I am having some significant injection site pain. It is a 500mg vial. I used 3ml bac.DustAndDignity said:How many MGs is the vial and how much BAC water did you use? I found that I needed to dilute the NAD more so it wasn’t so viscous during injection.
I also injected with a 29g needle which seemed to help reduce the sting. Last but not least I found that sub-Q thigh injections were the least painful.

If you have a big enough vial try 4mL of BAC.308fan said:It is a 500mg vial. I used 3ml bac.

Certainly, all the peptides for an energy boost like NAD+, 5AM, SS-31, and MOTS-c have less evidence than one would like, especially 5AM. And a stingy peptide that requires more prescious BAC is first on the chopping block for me. I won't even try MOTS-c.lastresort said:NAD + shot is not worth it IMO. Someone correct me but after gleaning some clinical studies, there arent any distinguishable beneits

Damn those stingy peps!!Calm Logic said:Certainly, all the peptides for an energy boost like NAD+, 5AM, SS-31, and MOTS-c have less evidence than one would like. And a stingy peptide that requires more prescious BAC is first on the chopping block for me. I won't even try MOTS-c.

Same happened to me, I did 3 ml bac in 500mg NAD+. I did only half of the dose since then. But the next Vial I will definitely put 6 ml bac in!Grrrem said:Thought I was being a baby with NAD but glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue.
I've tried diluting with 5ml in the vial and then adding more BAC in the syringe before injecting, different sites for injection and warming it up beforehand but nothing has worked for me.
It was supposed to be buffered but I'm not so sure. If it is then I can't imagine what unbuffered is like. I was worried about starting KLOW as if heard that was spicy as well, but it's a cake walk in comparison to the NAD.

Yeah, you may want to test the pH. If it's too low, you can add injectable sodium bicarb to the vial.Grrrem said:Thought I was being a baby with NAD but glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Interesting I'll add both to my cart when BAC comes back in stock somewhere. I haven't researched injectable sodium bicarb but I'm sure the search bar will give me results. Thanks for the tipCalm Logic said:Yeah, you may want to test the pH. If it's too low, you can add injectable sodium bicarb to the vial.
