I just started NAD and I am having some significant injection site pain. I put it in my buttocks and sitting is very uncomfortable. Anyone else notice this?

Some of the usual advice is to check pH, dilute more, consider IM (though more risky).

You can also dilute right before injection by adding saline, saline BAC, or regular BAC to the syringe.

Is it buffered?

I went through a couple of vials a few months ago, when I was messing with the mitochondrial protocol. It was from a reseller who bought from Uther or PGB or someone like that. Said it was buffered. And it hurt, every time. Also didn't do shit for me. I never bothered with it again after I noped out during the MOTS-C portion of the protocol (bigass hard lumps from that one that took months to go away, one is STILL not all the way gone).

How many MGs is the vial and how much BAC water did you use? I found that I needed to dilute the NAD more so it wasn’t so viscous during injection.

I also injected with a 29g needle which seemed to help reduce the sting. Last but not least I found that sub-Q thigh injections were the least painful.

NAD + shot is not worth it IMO. Someone correct me but after gleaning some clinical studies, there arent any distinguishable beneits

It is a 500mg vial. I used 3ml bac.

Mine comes in a 10mL vial, so I dilute the heck out of it. Then I add more bac before injection. Strangely, sub q stings less. I pin the fattiest part on my belly or my thighs and I'm fine.

Certainly, all the peptides for an energy boost like NAD+, 5AM, SS-31, and MOTS-c have less evidence than one would like, especially 5AM. And a stingy peptide that requires more prescious BAC is first on the chopping block for me. I won't even try MOTS-c.

Damn those stingy peps!!

Thought I was being a baby with NAD but glad to know I'm not the only one with this issue.

I've tried diluting with 5ml in the vial and then adding more BAC in the syringe before injecting, different sites for injection and warming it up beforehand but nothing has worked for me.

It was supposed to be buffered but I'm not so sure. If it is then I can't imagine what unbuffered is like. I was worried about starting KLOW as if heard that was spicy as well, but it's a cake walk in comparison to the NAD.

Same happened to me, I did 3 ml bac in 500mg NAD+. I did only half of the dose since then. But the next Vial I will definitely put 6 ml bac in!

Yeah, you may want to test the pH. If it's too low, you can add injectable sodium bicarb to the vial.

Interesting I'll add both to my cart when BAC comes back in stock somewhere. I haven't researched injectable sodium bicarb but I'm sure the search bar will give me results. Thanks for the tip
