Took my first GLP-1 shot yesterday. It was 0.125mg of Ozempic.

No real side-effects yet. A bit of dizziness but no nausea.

I have IBS and I'm 20-25 lbs over weight.

My target weight is 180 lbs. I currently weigh between 200 and 205 lbs.

My plan is to start with Ozempic for the first 3-4 months and lets see if I can lose about 10-15 lbs.

After that I will stop with Ozempic and start with either Mounjaro or Reta.

I havent decided which yet, but it'll probably be a Reta + tesamorelin stack to get rid of the last belly fat and stomach bloating.

I also plan on adding a KPV + BPC stack somewhere along the way to help heal my IBS.

Wish me luck people 👍

I'm sure you'll drop weight on this plan. But I'm a big fan of Tirzepatide (Mounjaro), so I'd be inclined to start with that. The weight loss should happen a bit faster, and it has other health benefits that Ozempic doesn't have. Someone else will be along shortly to recommend starting with Reta.

Looks like he is already going down the Reta route

I'm on day 3 now on Ozempic and I still have zero side effects.

No constipation, no nausea, no real fatigue. Nothing!

The only thing is I'm very thirsty and drinking a lot of water, and also peeing a lot. I've already dropped 1 pound or so, but thats probably just water

Intrigued about general GLP but also BPC for gut inflammation, I’ve got UC so wondering if it’s going to help with that

I am a little skeptical about BPC as a long term management. From what I see, it downregulates pro-inflammatory cytokines (alphta tumor necrosis factor, interleukin 6), but it won't cure the cause.

Things like UC are not 'curable' anyhow so any medication peps or otherwise are only around improving symptoms

I have also cut out alcohol completely.

Wont be easy though with the World Cup coming up 🤔
I have recently switched to N/A beer. I didn't really drink much anymore so I am not missing anything but the occassional hangover after an evening at my neighbor's house. I still enjoy the taste of beer so Busch N/A has been a nice addition to fill that desire, but without the effects of alcohol, which I had grown tired of anyhow.

I'm on my 6th Vodka & lime juice, and I'm actually feeling the booze better than I ever have without Ozempic. Sounds crazy right, but I'm living it 😀

Ive found the cravings for a beer have dampened more than my cravings for food on Reta!
