THought I'd toss this experience out and see if any of the illuminati here might know wth this reaction I've had is.

Details. Been taking Mots for 6 weeks. 10mg vials with reconned with 1 ml of Hospira. 5mg ( 50iu ) M/W/F in the AM... fasted. Had the usual itchiness for 20-40 minutes after pinning. No biggie.

Last vial. I fill with 1ml of BAC from a 1ml syringe like usual. I wash my hands. I always spray counter with iso alc and then wipe the area where I'm about to fill syringe. I wipe the vial top with a alc pad as well as the area where I'll pin ( love handle this time ). I fill to 50iu and pin. Not as bad of itchiness I notice. So here's where it gets odd. The NEXT DAY ( Thur ) the area pinned is kind of "hard" and itches a bit. I'd never had that happen before. There's still a bit of a lump there today but the itchiness is gone. And the area ( belly ) I pinned yesterday now has the same issue. A bit of a reddish spot, itchy and hard lump. "Hard" might not be the best description but you can feel the density is firmer than all the surrounding subq.

Maybe this is the normal mots reactions for most, I don't know. I only know that I hadn't had this happen from the previous 9 vials so it's got me asking about it.

Only thing I can attribute anything possibly being different ( than the other vials ) to would be the age of the BAC water that I've been using. Been using it a few weeks now. Don't refrigerate it. Keep out the light.

So that's it. Appreciate any thoughts. THanks.

That ISR is common (or at least not unusual) with MOTS, which is why I haven't tried it yet.

But it is surprising to me that you didn't have that reaction earlier.

I DID have the reddish spot and itchiness every previous pin...but NOT to where it was still there the next day. That's my point. THIS ISR is unlike the others: itchy and red for a bit THE DAY OF pinning was expected-this lingering is not.

Now I wonder if it just so happens this one vial may have been overfilled...

Again, this is not at all the experience I had with it from the other 9 vials of the kit. I had the ISR experience THAT IS common before. This ISR is not common. Or so it seems to me.

Another lump issue:

The only reactions I've had from QYC Mots-c was itching and a lump/knot where I injected. Would a low PH do that? It's not too bad...

Lingering is common with testosterone ISRs too, but those injections have an oil base.

If you are active on TG, search for MOTS and lump, itchy, ISR, etc.

One example:

Of course, you can also ask AI, such as how this differs from a bacterial infection (and how to treat and possibly prevent bothersome/inflammatory ISRs):

Hmm. Don't do TG, really. Don't know how to use it. lol

Perhaps this has become the "normal" ISR for me from MOTS? I'm done with it for a month or so for now. Guess I'll find out next year...since I have another kit ( JEEP-about to be tested ). Thanks!

Some advice (no idea how valid) is to do SS-31 (again) before restarting MOTS:

The cold pack before injection is also interesting.

Otherwise, 5-Amino-1-MQ (5 AM) is still trendy for an energy boost. I tried a single subq dose of 5 AM at 5+ mg and was not impressed, except with the pretty orange color of the solution.

You meant units. There is no IU conversion for most peptides bc they’re not measured in IU.. But I knew what you meant lol.

After I finish up this 10 day Epitalon stint I’m going to run some Mots. I’m going to try pinning in glutes to see if that alleviates some of the reaction. Noticable energy and endurance gains?

Think you also meant .5mg. Them decimal places scare the bajeezers out of me...

I had a similar reaction to mots c once , about 15cm ( 6 in ) round firm lump deep under the skin in the subcutaneous fat on my lower abdomen, extremely itchy and lasted for a week. Then went back to the usual small , few cm, itchy spot or lump that lasts a few days. No idea why, same dose same vial.

Hmm. Interesting. I thought maybe the first was a fluke but then the next one did the same thing. Glad it was the end of the kit. I didn't mind the red spot/itchy that happened right after each pin, really but these last two were a bit of a pain.

Has anyone had success with saline (sodium chloride) BAC to reduce ISRs from MOTS-c or other peptides? @StonePny mentioned success using it with glutathione.

Some general tips I have gathered about spicy peptides:

1) Dilute like crazy (even if you need a 10 mL vial or whatever)

2) Inject very, very slowly (like 10-20 seconds per injection)

3) Split dose into two syringes for two sites

I also gradually got worse reactions and started to get the lump the day AFTER I pinned.

Came across a very helpful tip-- I highly encourage you to try:

When I draw up the Mots-c I also get a syringe ready with KPV (300-500mcg). When I pin the Mots, I immediately pin the KPV near (like 1/4 in away) but not into the place I pinned the Mots. It has alleviated the terrible itching and giant lumps I was getting.

A young meso guy on another platform also noticed he had less inflammation from it when he was taking his allergy med. KPV is a potent anti inflammatory.
