Recently been doing a ton of research on peptides for longevity. Telomerase activation, telomere elongation, mitochondria function, immune function/reprogramming, senescent cell targeting, the list goes on.

In clinical and individual research I’m seeing a lot of potential benefits for older adults with countering age related decline. I’m curious what people’s thoughts or research are on preventative effects or starting annual protocols at younger age <30. Anybody here under 30 (or have seen anecdotes/research for <30) have noticeable effects with these types of peptides? Which ones? Bottom line: is it worth to consider any of these for longevity extension or are people finding age reversal as the only indication.

To name a few: Epitalon, Thymalin, Vilon, Vesugen, Prostamax, Thymosin Alpha 1, Humanin, SS-31, MOTS-c, FOX04-DRI

At your age, the odds are there will be real proven solid science on effective therapies that improve healthspan and lifespan by the time that aging is going to have any real impact on you. At this point no therapies are proven to reduce aging in humans, and for the long term, and by definition aging is a long term issue, proof things work and are safe really matters. Caloric restriction and several nutrients or lack of them and drugs have been shown to work in animals, but humans really are a bit different in terms of living a lot longer than most animals, and already living well past reproductive age ( in females at least ) which is not common.

There are islands in Japan and mountains in Greece where people on average live way longer than average. Most of the research tends to look at diet to explain the phenomenon. In Greece I've seen it explained as a cultural tea that they drink, and also by the exercise they get walking up the hills in the old towns where the roads are to small for auto traffic. Exercise and a good diet is always a good idea. That's probably the best first step for a younger person.

Yea I should have prefaced that diet, nutrition, exercise, OTC supplements, are already front of mind. Still, I’m curious if anybody has found positive effects from longevity peps at younger ages. Or if there’s any research on preventative action.

1) Get 8 hours of sleep.

2) Get your diet dialed in - whatever this means for your body type/temprament.

3) Get out and move around each day.

4) Lift weights.
