Hello,

I wanted to get some feedback on histamine responses to Tesamorelin.

Background : I am going on my 5th week of Tesa+IPA cycle. My dosing is 2mg Tesa+300mcg IPA, 5 on 2 off weekly. The first 3 weeks of subQ injections were fine, small itchy response after pinning that would usually go away after 10-15 minutes. This has since changed as of the last two weeks, the initial pinning is fine, but after around 12 hours of dose the itchiness has become more pronounced, and the welting and swelling continually increases and usually peaks in severity within 48 hours.

For comparison, I get allergic reactions to bug bites that are not typical to the histamine response of others, my wife for example. My allergic responses are the same thing large, extremely itchy welts that are a couple inches in diameter or more.

Things I have done so far to try and manage the itchiness : I have tried titration by adding more BAC; 3ML BAC to the 10mg Tesa and that didn't really help. I have also tried to split the dosage in two seperate injections in 2 different spots; one in thigh and one in abdomen and that didn't help, although the thigh injection is less of an annoying itch, but still extremely itchy and warm and welted. I have used OTC Antihistmines llike Ceterizine and Fomatidine and that seems to help the itch for a couple of hours. Additionally, I have let the syringe come to room temp and pinned, that doesn't help.I have also used Anti-Itch creams and Triamcinalone topically and that can help take a bit of the edge off but the welting and itch still persist.

I am on other stacks; "Klow," Semax and Selank, and on Reta 2mg 1x week and there are no ISR associated with these.

Because I also suffer from extreme bite reactions, and also certain seasonal allergies to different types of plants and weeds that has produced a similar reaction, I am leaning more towards getting some testing done to see if my tryptase levels are abnormal.

For people that have similar allergic reactions, has anybody found treatments that have worked for them? I was looking at medicines like Ketotifen or maybe some oral steroids temporarily.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I got the same on cjc 1295. It is apparently a pretty common response to ghrp and ghs peptides. It affects like 50% of people i think.

I've read some similar trends, its pretty random and I think it's to do with the temp. of the liquid and time between the post workout session.

Are you using a new syringe every pin?

Yeah, absolutely....I never use the same syringe to pin two different spots, and like I was saying before, I have brought it to temp and still have a bad reaction. it's brutal.

How bad of a reaction did you get, because I looked at other's reaction to these types of peptides and those are minor in comparison to mine. My injection sites swell up like golf balls, brutal!

That definitely is too big. Maybe rotate to the lower back fat deposits or the inner thighs?

Maybe someone else can back me up on this, but can taking Thymosin Alpha-1 help with this? I am allergic to shellfish, but have no other history of allergies. I've done 100s & 100s of pins and only had 2 very mild histamine reactions to pins. I feel like TA-1, is helping with that as it helps balance the immune system and doesn't let it get out of whack. I've slowly been building up my WBC count, as I've been on the low side and plan to keep taking it for the rest of the year.

AI version: TA1 is an immunomodulating peptide that may help manage histamine reactions by balancing the immune system, particularly by modulating Th2-dominant responses that drive allergy symptoms. While often used for immune support in chronic infections, its ability to reduce inflammation makes it a potential tool for managing histamine-driven conditions.

GH secretagogues have been known to cause anaphylactic reactions. I would not continue this if I was you, it looks like your body is building an increasingly severe allergic reaction.

Update: No Reaction in the glute!
I do this with my GHK-cu, and thank you, I will do this with my Tesa now. Not as bad as Op but can be annoying. Kinda lumpy too. I knew I would need the 1/2" Easy Touch again.

A lot of folks on here suggest kpv for immune responses I have seen.

I've never taken KPV by itself, I don't know if that would give me any benefit alone. I guess it does help inflammation and helps the digestive track. Like you, I've read good things about it and I'm currently taking KLOW and getting 500mcg a day of KPV. I'm throwing everything I can to heal from this shoulder surgery.

TA1 is a prescribed drug (Zadaxin) in over 35 countries, even prescribed to help people fighting cancer to help their immune system. That's why I'm interested in taking it for a year, supposedly can help get WBC count up. I have some LL-37 I want to use, but wonder if running it if I'm not sick is a waste. Gonna check with my Dr, next month on that.

I get a brief histamine response just a small bump and some itching around the site but it goes away by morning. I really just look out for multiple bumps or swelling signs a severe reaction. Tesa is a bit spicy. If the response is more of a histamine reaction rather than a allergic reaction maybe try adding more bac.

Had this with all 3 Sermorelin, CJC/IPA and Tesa. After having ran tesa for 2 cycles of 90 days after the first month on the first cycle it welp was less and now nothing at all. I pin it on my love handles. I say as long as it isn’t too bad it may pass like it did for me.

The love handle area was the absolute worst reaction for me. The welt spanned the whole area for 4 days after that pin, just stopped itching yesterday.

Dang, 4 days is extreme! The irritation lasted maybe a couple hours, or I guess could have been longer as I go straight to bed after the pin. But the irritation all together has gone away now.

Maybe a little antihistamine when you take the shot?

I know there was one lady on here that had a really bad reaction to tesa and had to go to the hospital due to the allergic reaction. If it gets worse you may want to look at alternatives.

What dose? Have you backed off a bit to see if that helps?
