Got some 5mg cag i was looking forward to trying because i no longer get any suppression whatsoever from max dose reta or tirz..

Added 1ml if bac and took .75 mg....within minutes every square inch of skin itched. Nose swelled, lips got numb, heart rate took off and had difficulty breathing for an hour or 2... scared the shit out of me. Guessing id get same reaction from any amyl receptor driven peptide? Thoughts on why this happened? Ive heard of it with mots, never cag. Thanks for any insight.

I just posted last week about similar allergic reaction to Cag, had to toss mine. Asked Gemini, apparently it's not that unheard of, happened in trials with a percentage of participants. Your reaction was definitely more severe than I experienced, but I'd definitely DC it, sounds like an anaphylactic response, lucky to be posting and not in an ER.

100% allergic reaction, it will be worse if you try it again. I advise getting an epi pen or the new nasal spray just in case you try something else new and have the same (or worse) reaction.

...and yes, it does sound like you were one step away from the ER.

but instead of trashing it, you might want to give it away

That sucks since you were sort of counting on it as a second-line defense. Are you now hesitating to try Eloralintide, since it works on the same receptors as Cagrilintide?

For your sake, I'm hoping the allergic reaction is related to some other ingredient, maybe even specific to your batch of Cag instead of Cag as a whole.

I don't know much about allergic reactions, but if I were to try Elora in your position, I'd start with a very small dose, taking an oral antihistamine 30 minutes before, and keep an EpiPen on hand. Would probably also be wise to have a spouse or friend with you.

man Im so sorry buddy.... I've been fearing that too though it hasn't happened yet. Im on 8mg tirz and reta, split dosing like you are.... thats my worst fear uhg.

Definitely be careful eith the cag. what do you think the answer is for your resistance to the glp1s???

Sorry to hear, but seriously glad you're ok!

I've seen your posts around, and they've been a huge resource for my own research—so definitely felt a bit of a parasocial scare reading this! 🙃

Focusing on your lack of suppression from glp1s though...

Have you tried cycling/abstaining from glp1s? If so, do you mind letting me know how long you took a break for? Also, how long have you been exposed to glp1s, and how high have you dosed previously?

Sucks for you, I guess, but interesting to know if there are cases where people develop some sorta permanent baseline shift in response to incretin analogues.

I know that's a problem more common with serotonergic drugs or benzos, but hey, you can never underestimate individual variability...

Idk they say up to ten percent of people have a gene where it doesn't work at all or doesn't work very well. Also my t4 is low on my thyroid panel where chad has to do with the slow metabolism. I'm looking into it.

That would be unusual though, right?

I thought that non-responders are that way from day dot, right? Did you experience appetite suppression at any point in the past?

I hadn't read about this type of response to Cagrilintide before. Thanks for posting.

I read most of the threads around Eloralintide and Cagrilintide in case my Tirz and Reta ever stop working for me. I would be so frustrated if I were in your shoes. Scary stuff.

I saw that india listed the neffy/spray product. cannot speak towards it's validity.

Sounds like anaphylaxis. I just experienced this three weeks ago with Tesamorelin, which I had used safely in months prior. I wouldn't risk it again, as it can be more aggressive the next time. Time to pick up an EpiPen or Neffy, Daddy, because you may now experience it with other compounds.

In my research since, I have seen reports of it with multiple compounds, even the GLP1s.

I would advise against ampoules. If you go into shock, you may not have time to break the ampoule and do the entire draw procedure.

A little unrelated…but how long were you on the max doses of Reta and tirz before you stopped getting any repression?

Dude, this is crazy. I am sorry you are going through this, but thank you for sharing. I hear you should start low on cag, 250mcgs would be what I've read, maybe the size of the dose made the reaction worse?

May I ask which vendor's product was this and was it tested?

There is a flood of fake peps on the market right now that could have anything in the vial.

Both jano and vanguard have mentioned the influx recently.

I feel for you, glad it worked out.

I have done quite a few peps and always just started with protocol, I guess I have been lucky.

Will need to change my ways..
