Shows what I know then… Honestly, I’ve never hit the fitness side as much as I should have. I’ve been functionally strong enough, and just… ignored it. Regretting it too, the older I get and the more that functional strength that was just there begins to disappear.
We all begin somewhere. The important part is to begin. Better late than never. Oh and the bit about arms getting hammered but other muscles hurting, the explanation is likely simple. Your arms were more developed than those other muscles for the type of effort you did. It's a very common thing. It's our bodies telling us what part needs to be focused on and developed. Every power movement almost always begins from the legs and through the hips because there is some element of working against gravity and inertia involved.

This does boil down to a me issue. I am crazy passive, and still, at my age, associate certain professions and personalities with authority. Like, there isn’t another doctor out there or something wild.

Part of it, if I’m being honest, is this the fact I take certain medications. Medications that were a pain in the ass to get prescribed, and a lot of docs are trending towards not writing them so much anymore, or making me jump through the many many hoops all over again.

But, you are right. I really need to just man up, and get a new doctor. God knows I pay enough in medical costs.

Oh, I was saying the opposite; that you may not NEED to get a new doctor; you may have the option to say "Ok. I understand you don't think these are the right call for me, and I've opted to move forward with them nevertheless. I'd like to talk about XYZ instead, because that's where I still have questions." Right up until I looked back your post and saw that I'd missed that it was NON-GLP-1 peptides. That changes my answer quite a bit; there's no circumstance where I'd tell my doc I was on non-glp1 peptides. Then he'd have to put it in my medical chart, and it could be used as a reason to screw me over by my insurance company.

True. And for some reason, I am on my 3rd, and soon to be 4th resident physician. They do their time in primary care and bounce. I need a doctor who knows who I am at least.
