When read about side effects, found out many users report a heart rate increase. I'm completely on the contrary. Just started Reta recently and I'm after 2 shots of 1mg so far. Before Reta my BPM while doing cardio was around 160-170. Currently it's more like 130-140. Anyone else did notice such a change in a heart rate or is it just me?

Everything I’ve seen and experienced is resting heart rate increasing, I’ve never seen conversation about heart rate while exercising being a thing.

Well, resting rate is probably much more important factor I presume. But isn't it working the same way when exercising? I just made a post, because my bpm was realy high while on cardio, now is moderate. Maybe just a coincidence, but it definitely dropped the same time, when starting Reta. Find it weird, but don't complain at all.

Reta @ 6mg/wk has my RHR up about 4bpm.
Same, most of the time. Once in a while it's 72 like normal.

Same, always check mine sitting down.

Mine gets monitored by my watch and ring.

Ironically started Reta at that January low. My 5 year average before glp was ~63bpm compared to 69bpm this week.

My ring puts my average since Feb at 66bpm.

How gnarly, my last 6 month graph almost mirrors yours:

My heart rate increased significantly (over 10 BPM) on only 4mg of reta, one of the reasons I got off that shit and went back to tirz.

After losing 19lbs so far, I have noticed a marked drop in HR and BP, most likely due to no more sleep apnea symptoms thus easing stress on my heart. I'm actually talking to my doc about dropping the dose of the beta blockers and Ace inhibitors, since those are intended to block the adrenal hit and enzyme cascade from holding breath and loss of oxygen level in the blood respectively, both caused by apnea episodes.

I have one of those O2/HR finger deals. HR is anywhere between 53-70 sleeping according to my bed. No clue how accurate that is. I had no idea it did that till it showed on the beds app.

Push more Reta to get over 70 and we’ll be twinsies😂

A pulse ox or a fitness tracker ring like Oura?

I went Oura to track my sleep more comfortably than my watch… I didn’t start tracking sleep until Jan or Feb, glad to have that data to help quantify my qualified “how I feel.”

I was under the impression that the mechanisms behind the increase to metabolism means that it would largely be expected for a small increase in RHR.

I haven't started yet, waiting on my reta to arrive, but I'll be interested to see how it impacts my own which is typically in the 42-44 range fairly consistently. I'd expect a small increase, then again I also think it'll correlate heavily to dose.

if I’m lifting very heavy it almost feels like I’m dying otherwise no issues only when my heart rate hits above 150 do I feel unwell normally RHR is around ~70. Full disclosure normally I’ve slammed around 300-450mgs of caffeine before I lift really heavy but still never had that issue when I wasn’t on Reta

Whoa, that’s a crazy low RHR 😳

And yes, your impression is accurate.

Yeah, generally speaking, Reta increases caffeine sensitivity in relation to elevating heart rate for many.

Im on meds for afib. My resting HR has increased while on reta but nothing that concerns me. Havnt asked my cardiologist lol
With a heart condition why take Reta? Tirz has nearly the same benefits without the increase heart rate pressure. Curious why you decided reta was worth it over tirz.

I might be a bit fluffy but I'm super consistent with my training, so my RHR is solid.

Hmm I drink less energy drinks than before, but haven’t noticed a sensitivity. I formally consumed ~600mg/day, now I’m around 300mg. I did go a couple-few months without drinking any, I assumed from dopamine blocking.

Taking 2mg per week since March 26th. I’ve noticed mine goes up 7-9 bpm for the first three days then levels back before the next injection. Just titrated to 4mg today and hoping it doesn’t increase any more
