Agree…constant and debilitating…quite a dramatic description. Just go to the ER if they are that bad. I would think most people wouldn’t sit at home with a “constant and debilitating” headache but maybe some might think that’s okay…
I like to be succinct. To better explain for you, "constant and debilitating' was meant to describe a headache that only goes away with robust application of OTC pain meds and returns once those meds exhaust their cycle (constant), and is affecting daily life (debilitating) by making it hard to focus at work. Some might think it's okay to go to the ER for a headache I suppose, but we like to save that space for actual emergencies. In my area they're pretty swamped frying bigger fish.

As someone that has suffered frequent headaches for 30 years I would only be super concerned if the headaches were intractable. I’m only mildly concerned that they’re new or changing. You seem to have it under control. Lecturing someone for asking for or giving advice is pretty wild. Sometimes this forum seems to go off the deep end thinking they’re experts on anything

Reta didn’t work for me, but that seems to be the most popular med besides tirz

I get the concern. No one here wants to hurt anyone. The advice given here is meant to help and not harm…but there is the potential to give advice that is harmful.

Everyone needs to remember that any advice received here is at your own risk.

I did not see any medical advice given here, just discussion of experiences stated by a medical provider (that would be me).
