Yeah but they are not doing trtCalm Logic said:It's an open question how the Meso bros with money to burn on 20 supplements/ancillaries, injecting Repatha, and getting more bloodwork than the sick and elderly will fare in mitigating the damage to their cardiovascular system, prostate, liver, kidneys, testicles, insulin sensitivity, etc. Even without steroid use, polypharmacy for several decades can be a health risk.

Yeah, some of the insanity is Dr. Phil material:sfkid said:Yeah but they are not doing trt. Those guys are chasing God status which most will never achieve to do genetics.
The younger guys are usually less able/willing to afford the (half-ass) harm-reduction measures.quoted said:View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcOJadwsn5c

If you are curious just spend 100 bucks and get your own blood hormone panel done. Then you can now if you want to go further.BNLFL said:I'll bet money if I ever make an appointment with a urologist they'll put me on this. My kid wants me to start doing it, but I'll wait for the doc and a script. I think it's injections or a cream. I think I can handle blasting myself.

I’m not saying there aren’t guys out there cruising/ blasting responsibly, because there are, but most are very uneducated or so driven that they push far past calculated risk.Calm Logic said:Yeah, some of the insanity is Dr. Phil material:

The real hypocrisy is when the 40-somethings at Meso tell the 20-somethings that it's too dangerous. A gram of steroids a week is not safe at any age or even relatively safe.
The bro science is what enables guys on DIY TRT to be willing to subject themselves to other steroids as well. It's all on the same pricelist, so it's normalized. The biggest danger of DIY TRT is the slippery slope.

Cost of rx is 20-30x more. I paid $200 for 20 vials of test c 250 which is literally years and years worth, thats less than 1 months at a clinic.Calm Logic said:It's a thing. But it often devolves into steroid abuse.
Cost of Rx testosterone is similar to grey or at least not as far off as with Rx GLPs:

In my state, a Class 4 felony for simple possession of a $10 a vial from the late SSA vs. legal test-c from Walgreens for $50-something. If a person really needs TRT, even some PCPs will prescribe it. Keyword is need.fatdude said:Cost of rx is 20-30x more.
