I hate the questions about filtering. If someone feels like they need to filter - they do not need to be in the gray market. Nurses don't even do that.
Tell my several hundred thousand dollar liver transplant and medically induced immuno compromised self it's not worth taking an 89¢ precaution.

If you hate the subject just disregard filtering threads/posts. Your comment goes against the harm reduction motivation of the forum.

Oh my! I’m so sorry you went through that!

I thought of one more thing- the person against filtering may say “well if you don’t trust it to be sterile you shouldn’t trust its actually peptides”

But I think because we hold purity levels to such a high standard- vendors know they will lose so much business selling bunk vials. So the standard we’ve all set is purity with 3rd party testing and calling out vendors that don’t do a good job.

But sterility isn’t something everyone tests for. Which is why we filter!

Regarding vials:

Anyone have recommendations where to buy vials for aliquots? Amber and clear vials?

I bought the peptide test ones too but finished them quickly. Personally, the Ks-Tek are just as great!

We literally get it tested, we know it's peptides.

I don't know why anyone gets their panties in a bunch over filtering. It's all personal risk tolerance. Why should someone care someone else is spending an extra $1 per vial? It's asinine.

If people would replace the word 'filter" with "condom."

"I hate the questions about condoms. If someone feels like they need to use a condom - they do not need to be in bed."

Ask any "don't wanna be a dad" waiting in the car at the abortion clinic or child support hearing if not using a filter condom was worth it.

I really like the 4mm Ks-tek ones from AliExpress! With the tariff issues they've settled back down to about $90 for 100 shipped. So for the record we have their vials and cartridges tested sterile by Janoshik as well. Ks-tek has a website now for ordering direct.

Wait that’s awesome! Going to Aliexpress and KS-Tek direct right now! Thank you so so much!

Nurses are not reconstituting illicit peptides from China, made in unknown labs with no FDA registration. And they don't have to worry about unsterile pieces of plastic or cardboard inside.

But the recon process itself can create particulate matter that would ideally be filtered out. The standards in pharmacy compounding also require filtering.
Indeed they are, I could name at least 50 that I personally know. I can name an entire surgical unit of nurses and even an anesthesiologist... who love and use peptides from the gray market, without filter needles. To each their own. Whatever makes someone feel safe...

I don't wear panties.

My apologies, I'll try to fall in line with the others more appropriately.

It all depends on someone's comfort level and particular/medical needs. It's all up to the individual. You either filter or you don't. It's that simple.
Good point, seems that if someone were that concerned, the gray market would give them massive anxiety. Majority of pep users do not but I always hear different things on this forum.

You accused this forum of being cliquish before, but you seem more divisive than most to me.

Most people who have gone gray in the last few years do so for affordabilty for GLPs. Other peptides are nice and all, but I certainly wouldn't be here if I could afford $500 a month for Zepbound, month after month, year after year.

Yeah sure!

So the first thing I did was search here the word filter/ filtering and read what others said! Then I went to chatGPT and tried to find what filter is best for my peptides. It even told me step by step how to filter.

Thing is- I’m a girl who frequents med spas and there are some horror stories about contaminated injections even in those professional settings. I’ve also worked in the burn unit of a hospital where I’ve seen more than one person come in with flesh eating bacteria exposure and it’s never something I’m willing to risk. Like I’ll spend a dollar on a filter, sue me.

Sterility is not guaranteed in grey market. Can we guarantee that each lab follows GMP? Equipment is properly autoclaved, the environment is completely sterile etc.

Even if there is no bacteria there could be micro particles. Glass, dust, residual byproduct…Just months ago, we found out red dye was added to some lipo-c.

Improperly sealed? Any exposure to moisture will grow bacteria. I just saw a TikTok of a state side kitchen peptide seller (pharmatech07) saying his sealing device is broken and held together by rubber bands:

So anyways… 22 µm low protein-binding filter (PVDF or RC).

Here’s the ones I bought: https://amzn.to/4ensiza

Here’s the sterile vials I bought:

2mL amber: https://amzn.to/44afc4Y

10mL amber: https://amzn.to/44qNeAO

The amber provides another layer of protection from light degradation of your peptides so I opted for those!

If anyone is upset I’m using filters, please touch grass ❤️
This. Everyone’s risk tolerance is different. I think with all you’ve seen you are smart for taking that extra precaution.

Just my two pennies😏

Precisely why I will always comment on new users and let them know that filtering is a good idea. It’s called harm reduction. Isn’t it good to share that knowledge? I truly don’t get your gripe here…

It's just up to the individual's discretion. Everyone has a choice. No matter what anybody says, "Do this or don't do that", the individual has the choice to do or don't. They choose what's good for them, and nobody will change their mind. People have to make themselves content, and what they choose to do is up to them, and I respect that.

I'm interested to hear about the filtering. I have read a few things where people have mentioned but what are you filtering out? I'll follow what you're doing sounds logical to freeze it pull it out 30mins prior. I'm going to use a pen for mine cause it's nice and convenient and I've got loads of the pins already so that'll stay in the fridge loaded like a normal Kwik pen. I was going to keep the bac water in the fridge also
When you filter it removes any stray bacteria or contaminants that might be in the vial. Some filter, some don’t, but if you have an impaired immune system it’s a good idea. There are also filter needles to use if drawing something up from a glass ampule (my glutathione comes with ampules of vitamin C that I use to recon them with), and the filter needles prevent tiny shards of glass from going into your peps. If you are interested in getting filtering supplies, many people sell the kits. There is a vendor called Underground that sells filtering kits and another vendor called All things Peptide, to name 2. Underground also sells hospital bac water for less than you’d pay many places. I’m sure there are other vendors, but I use Underground and I found the other one I names when I started looking into pens for my peps.

This nurse filters.

I had no idea! I was wondering how you could filter something so fine! Everydays a school day 👌 thanks for explaining you never learn if people don't share what they know

Yes but the problem is in order to function on this forum you need to earn likes otherwise you cannot post anywhere so by engaging with people you get to chat learn and get the likes so you can become a proper member of the forum.. if I did as you suggested I wouldn't be able to post

I didn’t realize the search function does not function without likes. Apologies if that’s the case. Good luck!
