Having used it from single bottle vendors for family member with Lyme, I've now ordered and received a nice stockpile from India.

SOME sources (including some AI which could be parroting general pep info) say to freeze the lyophilized powder HOWEVER---

the individual boxes from India (made for pharma use) say "Do not freeze. Store in a cool dry and dark place"

My understanding is that glutathione is more delicate than some other peptides, and I'd like to know that I'm storing it correctly. Anyone have more definitive info or feedback?

It's a comfortability thing. There are many things that can influence degradation of a peptide in powdered form. Ideally, just pick an area that is cool or cold, and away from the direct sun light. If the box says not to freeze, then store it in a cool place away from the light. Gluta is very sensitive.

The Glutathione from India usually comes with ampules of Ascorbic Acid. You definitely don’t want to freeze that. You would have Vitamin C pops with shards of glass in them. I use Glutathione daily and don’t freeze any of it.

The 1200 mg ones I ordered didn't come with vit c. How do your store yours? (I was hoping you'd see this post!)

I also get Glutimax-1200 from India. I store it in my basement, which is always cool and dark—there's no need to freeze it. I do IV push, so after reconstitution, I use the entire vial at once. However, if you're microdosing, be sure to store it in the refrigerator after reconstitution.

You just go straight into the vein? Is it with ascorbic acid? I’ve considered this but thought it would be better with IV fluids. Please, tell us more.

They don’t come with vit c anymore. Received mine a couple of weeks ago and there was no vit c.

Mine all comes with it still. You folks are probably just asking the vendor for the cheapest version so you don’t get it. It absolutely still comes with ascorbic acid if you are getting it from India or a pharmaceutical company because without it you are wasting your Glutathione.

You do need vitamin c and e for the glutathione to be optimal, but you can take higher amounts orally, too. I did some deep diving on it. It's not conclusive but it's more important when you have oxidative stress from heavy exercise.

Nope. He showed me the ones with vitamin c and that is what I ordered and when they arrived there was none. He said it looks like it’s changed. He is going to send the vitamin c out as that is what I ordered. Or I would have gone with the larger one that definitely did not have vitamin c with it.

FWIW, I did ask Kawwal for the best glutathione he carried, not the cheapest, and it's the brand you mentioned using.

Just a follow up, is there any reason that the vitamin c has to be subcutaneous? I've always used a supplement and can see improvements in my skin, but I'd switch to subcutaneous if that improves the effect.

It’s absorbed better IM, and even better than that via IV. All are effective methods though.

Thank you 🙂 I'll keep taking it orally, the vitamin c gummies make tasty little treats when my glucose gets a little low.

Though the tablets I have are 600 mg, I just read that more than 1,000 mg orally can cause GI issues:

Vitamins and minerals - Vitamin C

Find out about vitamin C (also called ascorbic acid), including what it does, how much you need, and good sources of it.

www.nhs.uk

The subq/IM/IV route would bypass such GI drama.
