It's really not that deep. If something's against the rules, then it's cheating, simple as. Maybe cry to WADA about it? I'm just gonna keep taking GLPs unless you can point to a rule that says I'm cheating, thanks.

I agree. I don't think most people outside of gym culture realize how closely the markets are related. I even have my AAS using friends hitting me up because their gear guy isn't slinging peps yet. Legally ambiguous grey market injectables paid for with crypto and imported from shady Chinese companies are all going to be in the same category. lol

If that were what we were doing we wouldn't be losing weight with semaglutide. I don't even think that without diet control people would lose that much weight with tirz or reta either.

Look around ... we are STILL discussing calorie restriction and exercising. All the GLP1 drugs are doing is making it easier.

I have every confidence that I could out-eat my current dosage of tirzepatide if I undid some changes I made to how I eat!

I saw a post elsewhere the other day from a bodybuilder who uses Reta to cut down to ludicrous body fat percentages declaring that he has solved obesity and it's ALL discipline with absolutely nothing else at play, and going on about how we have no idea how H U N G R Y he feels when he diets down to 4% body fat and look at him, he manages it! He does that for his comps and it's hard but it's POSSIBLE! Why can't you fatties?!

But obviously him using Reta - not cheating. It's fine for him. Because he's doing something that's actually hard and using it as a tool to do said actually hard thing. Whereas YOU are all using it as a crutch!!!

Now, when pressed, he revealed that he:

1. is a business owner (when further pressed, it's a social media based fitness one...). So that means he's got complete control over his own working patterns and hours, and he works from home, with a home gym. A big advantage to being able to work out for a few hours a day. Especially when that overlaps with the content you're making for your business!

2. has no partner, no kids. So that certainly keeps the obligations on the lower side...

And he's exactly the kind of guy I have no interest in hearing from. Because he had absolutely no respect or empathy for the fact that he is not representative, his body is not representative, his level of obligations are not representative. He's shouting at and about a bunch of people who have obligations outside of their control and different priorities and different factors that make weight loss difficult. And it was so obvious that he had a level of hatred for fat people, especially those that didn't "take his advice" - as if he was saying literally anything that people hadn't heard before. Anyone who pointed out that maybe people don't listen to him because he comes across as incredibly unempathetic to the difficulties faced by the people he allegedly wants to help, it was like "PUT THE CHEETOS DOWN" type responses.

I just have no time for that kind of attitude tbh.

I know right. No GLP1 is stopping us from eating cake or drinking sugary soda. We choose that.

Just the other day I watched a video of a woman discussing the grey market and how she didn't trust it so she was getting her tirz from a compounding med clinic. She said something about the grey market being untested products and I wanted to correct her on that little bit. When I ventured into her comment section .. of course there was some dude talking shit about her "abusing her body." I was like damn dude, here she is doing her best and documenting it for the world to see and paying out the wazoo to buy medicine. What do you want from her? There is no magic wand that will make her instantly skinny.

If we eat anything at all we are insulted. If we exercise we aren't doing enough. If we take medicine we are cheating. We can't win ... so fuck em all.

It's just like the Star Bellied Sneeches.. The thin and fit feel superior, and they hate that the people they feel superior to, can now get help getting fitter and thinner. Because these are the qualifications for being superior in their minds.

Apparently, when my wife lost about 20lbs over the course of three months and my sister in law got snippy about. Then goes on to say no one knows the long term consequences of GLPs. This just raises eyebrows in the family as we look at my sister in law sitting over 300lbs in her early 50's with a poor diet and no activity. Right...that's what her concern should be.

It’s really hard for me not to tell everyone everywhere about Reta, especially now when i’m now seeing results at 6mg ( 10lbs down in a month) and feeling great. 13lbs to go until I’ve dropped 100lbs. Something I once felt was impossible. But I promised when I started grey I would show others the path IF they asked me, but I am not responsible for their choices nor do I wish to be blamed if it goes wrong.

I don’t want to lie to folks, but I’m not broadcasting it either. The closest to me know what I’m doing on grey and they support me because they know how risk aware I am, and that I will have done my due researching diligence, as far as I can anyway.

There’s no way for me to not broadcast, unfortunately, my using of it or other gear. I’ve jumped up and down powerlifting weight classes for years. It’s just too obvious but I’ve always been happy to tell people about myself and what I do if they ask. Nicely.

It's not the most unreasonable thought to have, but at the same time, it is weird to assume someone else can afford the "solution", especially when you're talking about "legit" sources rather than grey market.

That said, I do think people do need to just mind their own business. If someone isn't on GLP-1s, then they have a reason. Might not be one I agree with in every case, but it's not my body in the end.

Y'know, I haven't told anybody. I don't feel it's their business. Anyway, I've lost 50lbs. and nobody has said jack. At least not to my face. I'm still large and imposing. My give-a-rip level is pretty low. So. . . . .
