Hi everyone,

I’ve recently gone pretty deep down the peptide rabbit hole. Since August this year, I started on Mounjaro and have lost about 16 kg / 35 lb.

Along the way, and thanks to the golden resources of this forum, I ordered grey-market reta and tirz, went through the usual struggle to source BAC water in Europe (still not sure why it’s so hard), and even ended up buying benzyl alcohol in bulk from Latvia to make my own (1 liter that will last forever 🤣).

I’ve also accumulated what feels like an endless supply of syringes, filters, vials, containers, etc.

I currently have two Eli Lilly reusable pens, but I’m starting to wonder whether disposable pens might actually be a better option: cleaner, simpler to manage, and... more compact! (I have been inspired by looking at the solostar pens from Sanofi + kwikpen from Lilly which my diabetic parents use).

So I’m turning to the collective wisdom here:

which models of reliable disposable pens are worth looking into?

Thanks in advance for any insights and advice!

I have used both disposable and reusable pens, and I find the reusable ones more convenient – they are easier to hold and the injector works more smoothly.

I don't know what you mean when you say that disposable pens are easier to use. They are used in exactly the same way as reusable pens – you fill the cartridge and insert it into the pen.

Thanks for engaging and your perspective.

I agree, reusable pens, especially the Lilly ones I have, are sturdy and well built (though a bit heavy). By “easier,” I was referring specifically to multi-peptide use scenario, where simpler handling and clearer separation between compounds can be an advantage.

Moreover, I really like the handability of pens like the solostar from sanofi. Lean and compact, as opposed to the bulkiness of some reusable ones.

I have one I bought off AliExpress, from some suggestions on other pep groups. Is it worth trying to learn to use it, so I don't have to keep buying tons of syringes every month?

Which one did you buy off Aliexpress? Can you post some pics? Are you happy with it? ThanksWhich one did you buy off Aliexpress? Can you post some pics? Are you happy with it? Thanks!

I got the HumaPen. I haven't used it yet, but I need to learn how.

I have myself the Humapen Luxura and the Humapen Ergo II. It is very easy to learn how to use them. In case, I suggest you Google some video reviews. I personally like those from "Peptide Critic" . Simple, straight to the point and highly informative.
