Hi guys. It's nearly go time for me. If any of you kind, lovely folks would mind answering some last minutes questions? For context, I'm only setting up for Tirz here. I also added my shopping list below that, in case I forgot something.
Do I use a new filter per sterile vial?
I was thinking of splitting 30mg into 2-3 vials, and freezing the extras so I'm not using a vial for more than 4-6 weeks.
3mL syringe barrels ok?
How many barrels per filter process?
50SGM just "flushes" the filter out with air in the end.
PDF guide uses just one, but I'm wary of contaminating the BAC vial even if I'm only pushing 0.1 mL of air with same barrel I recon'd with.
I'm probably just overthinking lol
Is there any big benefits over using two different kinds of needle lengths for filtering vs. just one length?
5/8″ (16mm) and 1 1/2″ (40mm)
vs. just the longer one?
The PDF guide mentions both and uses 4x of the shorter one (including for venting) and 1x of the longer one.
50SGM's post didn't mention lengths, just the gauges.
Vial Opener - is it a bad idea to use this to suck up the last drops or whatever
pH Test strips - I put in a pack, but that's probably not very useful unless I get KLOW or any of its components, right?
References I used:
ForestForay's PDF Recon and Filter Guide from the STG website
WLBLD's First Supply Order from Last Month
and 50ShadesGreyMarket's Filtering Guide from last November

Someone mentioned using molecular sieves instead of silica gel for temperatures below 0. Is this overkill? The listings claim they're reusable, but they're also relatively cheap.

Potentially 3D printed.
