So when I put 3ml of bac water into a 3ml peptide, it looks full.

Then when I draw it out, put a filter on the syringe, and then put it into a new vile, it looks like I’m about a quarter vial short.

Obviously, some of this liquid is getting stuck in the filter.

Am I doing this right lol? What are you all experiencing?

How big is your filter? The peptidetest video says the 4mm filter holds about 7 units.

The hold-up is likely µL (microliters) vs units…..7 units is a huge volume.

The Tisch Scientific website shows a hold-up volume of 1µL for that filter.

I just grip it and rip it. Let my body do the filtering XD

After pulling the pep and before attaching the filter, I draw in a little air. This helps completely empty the filter.

60% of the time, it works every time!

Air purging will make a difference in hold up volume. I do the same with very little loss.
